SAVED AT LAST!

“Yes! you are the chosen one talked about in the prophesy” the explained to her but she was still very perplexed about the whole thing, he was talking about.

“What prophesy are you talking about?” the person talking to her sensed her confusion but before he could say a word a different member of the cult spoke up;

“Don’t play dumb we know about your little love story with Lucian” she creased her browse and searched her memory but nothing like that came to mind. She started getting really scared her body was shuddering;

“I really don’t know what you all are talking about, please let me go! you got the wrong girl here!” since she couldn’t see their faces she heard another voice say to her;

“We want you to get something from Lucian!” Lilith started struggling to free herself.

“What is going on here? who is this chosen one and Lucian you keep talking about?” Lilith felt a hit on the back of her neck it was so painful that it sent her sleeping.

After she passed out the men started discussing amongst themselves;

“What is going on? perhaps we got the wrong girl. She doesn’t know a thing about the prophesy nor Lucian.” Helix spoke with agitation in his tone. One of the member interrupted him saying;

“She’s pretending!”

 Helix replied him saying; “No! she’s not lying …”

“Maybe she’s under Lucian’s hypnosis!” the man suggested again, Helix contemplated for a while before he asked him;

“You think?”

The man answered him immediately; “Yeah!”

After a while she regained consciousness and yelled;

“Ouch!” her neck was hurting she tried to reach for her neck but realized her hands were tight. Then she heard a voice;

“Alright if you are done its time for us to undo the hypnosis.” A woman stood in front her and although she couldn’t see her face she could tell it was a woman because of her physic;

“Sorry this will hurt!” the woman said to her in a sad tone. Lilith sensed the woman’s disapproval but it seems like she was forced. The woman laid her hands on Lilith’s head and tried to undo the hypnosis but couldn’t.

She turned to Helix and said;

This woman isn’t on any hypnosis! She’s telling the truth!” they all opened their eyes in astonishment and yelled at the same time;

“What!” Lucian looked at Lilith closely and smirked;

“That bastard must have used a complicated hypnosis on her!”

“No! she’s not under an illusion” the woman replied Helix.

Helix turned away angrily and went out of the dark room his other members and the woman followed suit. Lilith was left alone in the room. She looked around her and felt dejected. Tears started streaming down her eyes. She said under her voice;

“People often say that wherever someone is thinking of you, praying for you that place is called home, but I wonder if I have such a place” she bends her head sadly and said;

“All my life I have met a million shut doors in my face but today has to be very panful!”

One other person who was keeping an eye on Lilith was Karan. He was at the party enjoying himself and flirting around when he saw those men that took Lilith from there. He quickly and artfully followed after them. And now, he was waiting in a car he had rented outside the building they took her to. After a while of waiting he sighed and said;

“She has suffered quite a lot, she’s a strong woman …” he lights a cigarette and begins to smoke while he murmurs;

“This is a tough job!”

Painful tears flowed from Lucian’s eyes as he was driving, he remembered how Lilith surrendered like she knew what he was about to do. Her words about love pierced his heart, each time he thought of it. He murmured;

“I really don’t deserve anything good do I? Please forgive me Lilith!” he continued driving at a high speed. He arrived at the mansion where Lilith was being kept.

Karan saw his arrival and quickly adjusted his sitting position in the car. He murmured to himself; “now this is the moment I have been waiting for…”

Lucian’s eyes turned glowing red as he stepped ahead, his wings came out and his claws gradually grew to full length. With his anger intensified there was no stopping him. He focused his eagle eye at the building to search for where Lilith might be, only to see her in chains in a secluded room. He clawed at the house forcefully without even touching the building and halve of the house came down in scrambles. He rushed in and grabbed two men by the neck, one in each of his hand. He squeezed their necks, until they were no longer moving before he dropped them to the ground. He pounced on the lots of them clawing and biting them Mercilessly. While he was in a frenzy of destroying the people who plotted against Lilith. He made sure to be alert of his environment. Taking note of any hidden scheme that might have been plotted ahead of time. Although his men were hanging around for when he would call them, but he had no intension of calling them. Since he felt the fight was personal. It was a bloody scene when he was done with each of them. Their screeching and yelling could be heard. Some of them were begging Lucian while lying on the ground struggling for their lives;

“Please forgive us! your bite is deathly Lucian; we won’t survive it!” they begged at the same time in agony.

“We were not going to harm her! and she said she doesn’t know who you are” Lucian glared at the person who was confessing to him and snarled.

“Lucian please give us your blood we are sorry!” he didn’t even flinch he continued walking towards the room were Lilith was kept. With each step he took, he yelled out to Helix;

“You Damn bastard! You have the nerve to undermine me, Lucian Morningstar I will turn you into shreds and feed you to the birds. Come out you bastard and face me man to man right now!” He kicked the door forcefully and part of the room eroded because of the force.

Helix’s eyes were glowing red as well with his claws fixed on Lilith’s neck. He shot Lucian a mischievous smile;

“Tell me you didn’t think you were the only one with a trump card did you? Well surprise I also have a trump card and she’s right here!” Lucian glared at him and snarled, But Helix was unbothered, he continued talking;

“You know what? We have all had enough of the Draco’s tyranny! Did you think that we would stay put after hearing the terrifying prophesy about your chosen bride and the son she will beget? I fight not because of greed for power but because I hope for peace!” Helix held Lilith tightly by the neck which made her yelp in pain.

“Enough! Of your nonsense Helix! The Draco’s have done nothing other than protect the vampire society and you know this better than anyone else. We are not perfect and we can be savage, yes! But we have felt pain and we know what pain can do to a society like ours and that’s why we try our best to see everything goes accordingly with a strict Authority…  

And what are you all going on about a child and a woman? I have no knowledge of who she is in the least.” Lucian pointed his claws at Helix’s neck and said;

“Stop talking nonsense!” he waved his claws across Helix’s neck and a slight cut was formed from an invincible blade on his neck. Blood spluttered out of his neck profusely. But even with the claw cut Helix said to him;

“Today it’s the Baldovino’s … tomorrow it will be a different clan of vampires coming after you … and your chosen bride” After that, he fell flat to the ground. Lucian broke the chains with his bare hands and carried Lilith in his arms and walked out of the building which was now in shambles.

He was sorry at the state Lilith was in. looking at her scars formed around her neck, he was deeply hurt.

“I am sorry Lilith” looking at Lilith at that sate a part of him deep in his heart wanted to let go of Lilith but he couldn’t. He is obsessed.

He didn’t wipe her memory out of spite or just for share wickedness. He wiped her memory because he wanted to protect her from the Baldovino’s. For, ever since she was abducted by the witches, he had sent out his minions to look into the so called prophesy and to keep him informed about the people who are looking into the prophesy.

Baldovino happened to be one of those people. Knowing him Lucian knew what he is capable of. Never the less he wasn’t aware of the extent he was capable of going just because of his insecurities towards the Draco’s.

“Damned him for laying his filthy hands on Lilith!”
