Lilith was already asleep when Lucian took her back to her apartment. She looked so peaceful and angelic while asleep. Lucian stayed back a while to watch her while she was sleeping. It was late in the night when he left her in her apartment with a soft kiss on the cheeks.
Lilith found herself feeling cold in the middle of the night with half hazard memories. She was angry with herself once again. She took long strides into the bathroom and opened the cabinet to get her toothpaste. After grabbing it she was about to press a little liquid of the toothpaste on the bristles of her tooth brush when she saw a sticky note attached to the toothpaste. She grabbed the note and read;
"Incase memory fails like the usual check your flower vase for your voice recorder and your book shelf for your camera to see what happened while our memory was asleep" she quickly felt elated and got the two gadgets. She sat on the rug on the floor in the living room and listened as she watched from each of the gadget all that had been happening.
She was shocked to her core at the realization of everything. She walked round her room dumb founded as she connected the dots to her dream. She remained seated there with her legs criss-crossed and her mind drifted off into space. She was occupied with her thoughts she didn't even realize it was morning. When the light rays from the sun flashed in her face she stood up and got dressed.

Lucian and Helio were playing chess when the doors to the mansion slammed open. Lilith scanned the area for Lucian until she found him at the far corner of the massive sitting room with little Helio. She took long strides to where they were and stood right in front of them. Looking at Lucian straight in the eyes she said with tears in her eyes;
"I feel violated by you! Let me rephrase that, you violated my rights!" Lucian looked at her confused. He was trying to understand what was making her agitated.
"What do you mean!" he asked her confused by all the ruckus. She brought out her recorder immediately and played it in front of him. she knew she was acting on impulse but she couldn't help it, she was feeling used. She felt like a play thing to Lucian. After all it’s her right to know all that concerns her life as a human being. So realizing that the rights has been violated. She was shattered with the feeling of being used and being treated like a fool.
Lucian was awed at how possibly it was for her to quickly understand the art of vamps Manipulation. He wondered if she had learnt how to release herself from mind manipulation or if it was someone who did release her from his hypnosis, but no one was strong enough to do that except for Kathy. Well Kathy wouldn't think of doing something like that. He grabbed the recorder from her hands and said;
"Sleep my love and forget about everything you thought you knew but didn't!" Lucian smiled but it was a pained smile.
He could see her begging as she slowly closed her eyes. Begging him not to do away with her memory. But it was all for her own good that he wiped her memory.
she fell into his hands in deep slumber and he carried her in his arms princess style into his room. He kept her on the bed before speeding outside to meet Helio who was still agape by everything that just happened. When Helio saw him the first thing he spout out was;
"Uncle! That girl is not normal trust me" Lucian ruffled his hair and said;
"True. She's just too smart for her own good that's all." His dimples pronounced as he smiled at little Helio.
"I still don't think so" Lucian cackled at little Helios's seriousness and said;
"What do you thing she is? A little demon?" He cackled even louder. Helio tilted his head to the side looking puzzled.
He followed Lucian as he made his way out of the mansion and straight to Lilith's apartment. When they arrived they stood in front of the door and Lucian turned to Helio to say;
"So my little man we are here on a search for camera's and recorders. I want to make sure I delete everything she has of me and any information on the other vamps." They got into the house and began their search.
"Uncle come to think about it... how did she come to realize that something is wrong, when under your strong hypnosis?" He looked confused by the whole situation.
"I don't know Kiddo, but something like this rarely happens. Except when your meddling aunty uses magic on my victims to clear my mind manipulation which is very painful for the victim and strenuous on the witch or wizard performing the spell. I doubt she would that for Lilith, they are not that close"
"Anyway uncle why don't you be honest with her, she is someone I believe will stand by you, regardless of people's opinion." Lucian stopped in his tracks and thought for a while.
"You are might be right! But I don't want her to be hurt just because I can't control my own" the place grew silent as the two got into a serious search until they found her cameras. Helio wiped all the evidence and they were off.
Lilith woke up to find herself in Lucian's room. She looked around only to see a man holding a wine glass and standing in the dark corner of the room. She got up abruptly. He approached her swiftly and stood in front of her and at that moment she recalled everything that have been happening. She buried her face in her palms drained and frustrated, she asked him;
"Why do you keep doing this to me? Don't you realize that the more you are being this way, the more estranged you are to me. Why can't you just allow me to choose for myself? What is it you even want from me? My blood? I can donate that every week for you. My body? What?" she asked him in great fury. Lucian was concerned about how hurt she was from her eyes. He answered her in a subtle voice;
"I don't know myself, before now I wanted you to be my play thing but with time I wanted more from you. I have never had anyone who made me feel loved like you. You are genuine, you are a friend, my psychologist and more. I just can't explain but I always want to keep you safe and happy" Lucian had never been that open and serious about anyone. His eyes said everything he was feeling.
"Well I am not happy Lucian! Because you keep taking away my memories. How am I supposed to live without them?" she was crying as she asked him. Her tears pricked his heart all the more, and he started apologizing on impulse;
"I am sorry Lilith! You are a good person and I don't deserve you. I will make everything right" He vanished from the room by running speedily away. living her to her thoughts. Lucian went into the bayou and screamed at the top of his voice. He slumped to the ground and buried his face in his palms. The pain that struck his heart when she said she was not happy made his whole body weak and his heart broken.
He returned home late and found Lilith about to leave. He offered to be her escort and she agreed. He escorted her back to her apartment. As they stopped in front of the terrace. He looked into her eyes and said;
"Always know that you are precious to someone! I have hurt you enough and I can't any more. I don't want to be the cause to any hurt you may feel in your heart so I am letting you go…
"What do you mean" she objected quickly? As she was certain she knew where he was going to with that his statement.
"From today hence forth you are free from memories of me! You go on and live your life and always be happy. Sleep now my love" she fell into his arms and he picked her up princess style into her bedroom. He kept her on the bed and kissed her on the lips one last time before he left.
That night as Lilith was asleep she cried deeply with all her heart in her sleep. She felt lonely the kind of loneliness she felt when she was thrown out of her family's home by her adoptive mother. She curled up in bed as dreams which caused her pain flowed in her memory.

Lucian had never felt broken as the day he lets go of Lilith's hands. He still remembers the glint in her eyes when she closed her eyes after his hypnosis. In closed doors he is always the saddest person but whenever he is out he emerges as this hardcore bad boy, I don't care image.
It was family karaoke night, Kathy, Kilian, Helio and Lucian were seated in the Karaoke room waiting for drinks. The place was awfully silent, so Lucian nudged Helio to go and sing first but Helio won't budge. Although Kathy had never been on good terms with her brother Lucian but she has always been the first to notice when something is off with him.
And lately she noticed how tensed and saddened he has been regardless of his bad boy mask. She smiled at Lucian and Helios's little conflict and grabbed the microphone and said;
"Alright I can't deal with you guys right now, I will be singing Sinner Man by Nina Simone" she adjusted her voice and looking straight at Lucian she started sing;
"Oh, sinnerman, where you gonna run to?

In the karaoke room where they were all seated, everyone there listened with excitement at the song Kathy was singing. Well, except Lucian who was busy contemplating whether Kathy was directing the song at him as some sort of sarcasm or not.
