A LONELY HEART!

Jaden was completely weakened by the dogrose and buckthorn. He could hardly feel his own body. He tried his best to escape the captivity severally but he couldn’t, he was at his limits. He prayed inwardly for someone to come to his aid, but no matter how much he prayed, it was as if his voice was unheard to the universe. He laid helplessly and hoped his brother Lucian come to his aid. The frightened witch was seated at on the floor some good distance away from him. he could tell she was frightened but she was more frightened of his brother than him. if he was going to be staying locked for some reason he was unaware of, he concluded it will be better if he got all the information that could be of help to his brother once he was rescued. Looking at the frightened witch he mustered up all the strength he had and cackled viciously, throwing at her deathly glares;

“What are you and my brother up to, don’t make me ask you twice, otherwise I promise, you will regret it. Don’t think that my senses are asleep because of the dogrose and the buckthorn… my body? Yes, its weak but not my senses, always awake and I can get to my brother with any slightest chance he passes or visits the chapel.”

“Your-your-your mother is awake and they are all part of this, that’s all I can say.” She buried her frightened face in her palms. He looked at her with pity and lets his tired eyes close for some rest without fighting it.

Lilith and Helio were having a forced fruit feast, in which Lilith had forced Helio because she thinks he loves mostly dairy products, meat, bacon and snacks filled with meat inside, in which she thinks it’s not very healthy for him. as they were eating she asked him;

“Hey! Kiddo when are you leaving this place?” Lilith asked him curiously with her eyes fixated on him.

“It seems you are getting tired of me!” he joked with her putting up a serious face to make it believable.

“Not at all!” she said, with a broad smile and concluded;

“In fact, if you feel you want to stay longer you are welcome to, just take me with you to take permission from your family first of all” she said to him seriously.

“Speak of the devil and you find them by your door step.” Helio gasped as he looked in the direction of the door exclaiming;

“My uncle is by your door” she laughed at him hysterically/

"No he is not” Lilith said to him with certainty in her tone of voice          “Yes he is” he answered affirmatively with a definite look written on his face.

“How would you know he is there really!’ Lilith asked him curiously with a worried face. she observed him carefully and watched him as he answered;  

“Just my instincts” he raised his hands above his head in surrender. When she heard a knock her eyes glued to the young boy, she was confused ‘how can one little boy have such sharp instincts’ she wondered to herself as the figure opened the door and asked may I come in? she nodded saying;

Yes! please do come in!” he entered with a wide smile on his face, as he was trying to make simple conversation with her, his eyes moved on their own to scan her body. She was wearing a gray bun short and a white big shirt over it. He could see her perfect boobs shooting their n****e head through the white shirt and her smooth skinned thighs glowing. He looked away and looked around the house saying;

You have a nice place here! Hope you love the vicinity”

I sure do!” she smiled and he smiled back at her saying;

“I am here to take this little trouble maker back home to his aunty…” as he was about to complete his statement she hurriedly said;

“Oh no! he is definitely not a trouble maker, he makes me happy from the first day I met him, he is a genius kid… Helio” he smiled and answered her saying;

“You sure have grown fun of this kid! Not to worry as soon as he returns from his trip to visit his Mum, I bring him right back here. The thing is I don’t know how to run from his claws…” he laughed weirdly, she smiled and turn to get something from the fridge, just as his eyes landed on her behind he was left agape at the perfect shape of the woman’s buttocks. He couldn’t get his eyes off of her. His canines grew and they were itching badly once again. Helio smiled and smacked his hard on the butt cheek, Lucian turned his deathly stare on the boy and was about to give him the knock of his life, when Lilith turned to look at them, Helio whispered;

“Uncle if you touch me I am gonna tell her you were ogling at her bum” Lilith smiled at them and returned with an enclosed cup of Oreo’s ice-cream and handed them to Helio and said;

“Try eating more vegetables and fruits okay?” she ruffled his hair playfully and gave him a peck on the head. Helio turned to look at his uncle with raised browse as if saying to his face ‘what can you do now?’ Lucian played ruffled his hair roughly and said to Lilith;

Good night my fair lady! Until another time, he dragged little Helio out of the apartment and Lilith was left alone in the empty space. She mumbled;

“I am lonely now!” she took the remaining fruits to the kitchen and cleaned up the living room where they were seated. She swiftly strides to her room and cleaned up. then she prepared a schedule of what to do tomorrow.

When Lucian and Helio were a bit far, Lucian carried him up along with him as they ascended up above the houses and slightly into the sky. As they were flying, a certain voice reverberated in the sky;

“Where do you think you are going! Illegitimate bastard! Come down and face me, if you are not a coward?” Lucian’s face became dark, Helio hugged Lucian and said; you have to face your fears no matter how many times you fall you just have to get right back up again, that’s what mummy always says but I believe her, let’s go uncle I am ready when you are. Lucian tucked his wings behind and dived down in high speed with little Helio in his arms and his hands wrapped around his neck.

“Are you ready?” Helio gave him a thumbs up and he landed forcefully on his two feet with Helio still in his arms, the ground was lightly cracked, Helio jumped off and stood behind in a fighting stance. Kaden laughed hysterically and said; do you think this little man can help you?” he asked mischievously

“You never know until you try right? He is my blood-pawn” Helios’s eyes turned red and he said;

Promotion from a spare piece to pawn. He went right behind his uncle Lucian’s back and when he got the signal he screamed and aimed towards Kaden. Then, when he was close enough and had had gained his uncles attention, he made a quick turn while Lucian landed him with a strong punch in the stomach, making him vomit blood. Helio ran in high speed like the flash of a lightening to the hideout without looking back. Lucian remained silent and watched as his brother got right back up mumbling;

“Oh I see; some uncle you are using your little nephew as diversion!”

“You mean my pawn that’s stronger than my so called demi king?” he cackled and wiped the little traces of tears trying to fall from the sides of his eyes.

“My brother! that hates as if I begged to burn by the same father as him. my brother that hates because of something I did that I don’t even know up to date! You’ve tried to kill me but all I have done is to love you! I still love you brother and I would lie and say I am badass because of my own doing, but honestly I know it’s because you brother! yesterday is history tomorrow mystery but today I employ you brother let’s put the past to rest and live in the present”

“You may put the past to rest if and only if you can defeat me by putting me to rest!” Kaden spoke his mind in absolute determination. He glowered at Lucian. Lucian stood still and closed his eyes and said;

“Make your move brother!” Kaden looked at him with so much hate in his eyes and charged towards him viciously, but as Lucian opened his eyes to fight, how could he when memories of the past flashed in his mind and he remembered all that his brother thought him;

‘Kaden thought Lucian everything he knew about fighting from a young age as his elder brother and when Lucian showed talent in fighting there was none as proud as Kaden. He made him into what he is today, he believed in him and loved him dearly. Kaden even told him he was born for greatness. Until it dawned on him that the student was becoming better than the teacher, he felt jealous but he didn’t hate him then.

It all started when Lucian gained the title of a king. (In the Draco’s family, title is given as rank in the family. While the king was considered the leader of the family, the title of the queen was given to Kaden which was later changed to Demi king since he didn’t like being called the queen.) while he got the rank of being second in command. He wanted more, he wanted to be more than Lucian.

 With his constant envious desires, darkness filled his heart. Outraged Kaden laid waste to the family and the city. He tried to take over the leadership of the family and town by force and Lucian had to fight his master and brother, but how could he? Lucian loved Kaden like he had never loved anyone before or since. Kaden was stopped by Vlad his grandfather.’

Lucian receives a fatal piercing straight into the heart with an alicorn laced with linden. He falls flat to the ground.

Some Vampires, werewolves and witches that were hiding in the ally saw what had happened and ran with fear to inform the other Vampires and witches of what had happened.

News spread fast like wildfire about Kaden killing the Lucian Morning star. Others that didn’t see what had happened that day laughed over it and refused to belief any of the rumours. Days passed by and soon weeks started passing by with no news of Lucian.

Ever since he was defeated his brother Kaden have been wreaking havoc in the city every other day, the werewolves and vampires grew scared and weary. The tourist stopped visiting town. And since then no one knew where Lucian was hidden or how he was doing.

Ever since Helio left, Lilith felt like a part of her left her, she was lonely and finally decided sometime back to find herself a part-time job as a psychiatrist. She had applied for a job at the Olive-care mental health clinic, some weeks back and has since then been waiting for their call. On a sunny Sunday she decided to go for an ice cream at the park. At her arrival there she took quick steps to where the ice cream kiosk was and got herself, her favorite ice-cream flavor vanilla. She sat under a tree with her jotter by her side taking ice-cream and writing random ideas for her book.

While she was enjoying her ice cream she felt a light pat on the back, when she turned to see who it was she skipped with fear and her ice-cream fell to the ground. She was agitated but immediately but pretends in front of the as if she wasn’t. she turned to him with a fake smile on her face;

Hello mister she said!” Kaden wagged his head and asked her with a smirk on his face;

“Don’t you remember my name?” she looked at him and cracked her brain trying to remember his name but couldn’t so she resolved and said;

“You are Helios’s uncle right?” he smiled and said; “that’s right! But that’s not my name” she smiled and replied;

“You Figured!” he smiled again and she said;

“I am sorry I forgot your name can you tell me again!” she asked, he smiled and said

“Lilith perhaps you would remember my Name if you ask around about the New king from the Draco’s” he walked away after taking her hands in his and kissing her fingers. She was yet again left astounded and asking herself. ‘What is it with the Draco’s and attitude, for goodness sake did they discover the word Attitude?’ she wagged her head and picked up the cup of ice cream from the ground and trashed it.

“Frigging Narcissist!” she took slow strides in the park and met with Argo along the way. She smiled at him and said;

My missing tour guide I have been trying to reach out to you for some time now but I couldn’t” she pouted as she complained, he looked at her with creased browse saying;

“I remember well you have been having the time of your life with Helio that little weasel.” He said with a little lightness of laughter in his voice.

“How did you know?” she was surprised that he knew about her movement with little Helio ‘but how!’ she asked herself inwardly.

“It’s a small town my lady” he smiled gleefully at her. Looking at her asked again;

“I am sorry to bug you on your afternoon stroll but when last did you see little Helio and Lucian” her eyes widened with fear and surprise as she started attacking him with questions;

“Are they fine? Did anything happen to them? Tell me how can I help?”
