RELEASED!

Lilith smiled at him and said;

“Let’s go back!” He tucks his wings back and they started falling down while maintaining eye contact with each other. It was as if they were talking to each other without words. It was intense. When they were almost down he opened his wings and said the most painful words that stabbed his own heart;

“Sweet heart I want you to forget all about me and my family. We never met and you are just here for work together with your best friend and soon you will be heading back for Texas. Be happy always and know that you are special to someone and that someone loves you dearly.” Lucians eyes turned red as he sealed his hypnosis.

The moment they got to the ground he dropped her off and slightly bowed before her, she also curtsies before him and they parted ways. He didn’t even get far off from her when four men captured her right before his eyes. He contained all his fury and continued walking away like he had never encountered her before.

Kathy arrived just when they were abducting Lilith. She wanted to rush to her aid but she saw Lucian walking back to the hall with his usual evil smile. He didn’t even look back when she screamed nor acted as if he was affected. She was speechless. Lilith’s scream echoed as she was being forced away. Lucian went back into the hall and asked a random girl for a dance with him. they both danced and laughed and talked in between their small chatters. Lilith couldn’t believe her eyes. She walked up to him and dragged him to a corner and said;

“Are you sane at all?” Kathy peered into his eyes questionably.

“Yeah of course do I look like something is wrong with me?” Kathy couldn’t help covering her lips with her palms in her puzzled state.

“It’s now confirmed I have a demon for a brother” Lucian smiled at her wiggled his hands out of her grip.

“Go dance or do something. Stop bugging me! The party has only begun.” He smirked at her as he went away. Kathy pinched her chin as she walked away from there.

He went back to the girl he was talking to. They talked some more before she finally left his side. He sat by the bar drinking wine when by twelve mid-nights his phone wrung. He picked up the call and dropped the wine glass he was holding forcefully on the table and went outside answering the call;

“Tell me! Have you found her?” Lucian questioned;

“Yes sir!” the person answered instantly. 

“Keep an eye on her until it’s time!” he cuts the call and walks to the exit.

Although a smile was written on Lucian’s face, fury was burning deep in his heart. And anyone that knew him could say the same about the anger brewing in his eyes. He just wanted to destroy anything that comes his way at that point. He entered his Mercedes-Benz G-class and drove away.

“Helio why did you bring me here?” Felix asked Helio with a slight agitation in his voice.

“Because only you can help me with what I am about to do!” Helio explained to him simply.

“And what would that be?” Felix asked.

“Have you heard of any plan against my uncle Lucian and a girl everyone refers to as the chosen one!” He peered into Felix’s eyes desperately. He hoped that Felix heard something and that he would be honest with him.

“No I haven’t heard anything about your uncle…” the place was silent for a while as Felix thought deeply for a while. He stuttered as he answered when he remembered something. 

“b-b- but… I heard my uncle talking to some of our clan members about bringing in the chosen one into the dark room.” Helio exhaled and said;

“Please type exactly what you just told me now and sent it to my uncle Lucian!” Felix looked at him with a puzzled face. Helio begged him seriously again;

“Please just help me, I really need your help Okay?” Felix nodded and did as Helio asked him.

“Alright! Alright!” he grabbed Helios’s phone and sent a message to Lucian.” Helio exhaled and relaxed on his bed. Felix couldn’t help staring at him. he climbed the bed and took a closer look at Helios’s face. He opened his mouth wide in surprise when he noticed something on Helio;

“Let me see your tongue Helio!” Helio was surprised and wondered, ‘what would he want to see on my tongue? This is out of character for Felix.’ He opened his mouth and showed it to Felix. Felix screamed after taking a good look at his tongue;

“Damn it!” this time around he was the one dragging Helio from the bed. He pushed him to kneel on the floor and he also knelt on the floor facing him. he placed his right arm on his chest and made Lucian place his left arm over his own chest. Then holding their free arms together. Felix placed his forehead on Helios’s forehead and started chanting some incantations. Liquid that looked like ink started flowing out of Helios’s mouth. Helio screamed from the stink of pain coming from his mouth. After Lucian was done a strong force pushed them apart and quickly stood up and asked;

“Are you Okay?” Felix asked swiftly in a worried tone.

“Yeah why did you do that you little punk!” Felix exhaled and asked him instantly;

“Now tell me what you wanted to tell me but couldn’t” Felix asked him to see if he got rid of the Vino’s curse.

“It’s no use I can’t!” Felix was agitated with him and asked him with attitude;

“Damn it! just try it!” he looked into his eyes with much emotion written on his face. Helio tried to answer him and to his surprise the words came out with no obstruction;

“Your father and some men that call themselves the Vino’s cult are planning against my uncle Lucian and my new aunty!” Lucian opened his eyes wide in astonishment. He screamed happily.

“It’s no longer choking, it’s not painful again I can talk… yeah” he looked at Felix with an apologetic eye and said;

“I am sorry and thank you so much Felix. Now I get to warn my uncle properly.”

“That’s a dangerous curse by the way that can kill, if I had not released it, you would have been death, because you tried to reveal the truth about what you saw severally at the Dark room. The ink that came flowing from your mouth would have exploded in your body and killed you. Only a Vino can release such a spell.”

“But how did you know?” Helio curiously asked;

“Through your pupils!” Felix answered him simply.

“Alright let’s go warn my uncle and don’t worry I will protect you from your father” Felix smiled and followed after him.  

“Damn it! …” Lilith surveyed her surroundings with her eyes squinted. The place was dark and she could hardly hear any voice. The place was void, she felt it since her voice echoed in the empty room. She murmured to herself; “this feels nostalgic, like it had happened before!” she suddenly felt a Masculine hand on her shoulders, it was cold and it frightened her. the person’s voice reverberated in her ears;

“The chosen one!” Lucian tried to get a clearer view of the person’s face but she couldn’t his face was blurry in her sight.

“Wait! What?” she creased her browse confused
