Seated on the ground, leaning against a large tree and resting my arms on my knees, I was trying to regain some strength to move.
Gabriel had disappeared further into the forest to call Kaylee and update the girls on what happened, so they didn’t worry about where we were. I tried to protest against it, as it would’ve worried them more. However, he was right in telling me that they should know.
