~ A M E L I A ~ School couldn’t have been over fast enough; I was too keen to get home. Everett and I had agreed that we were going to utilise today to research into finding my parents, even though the information I had was barely even research or useful to find out more. I had essentially nothing to go off of… My speedy pace became a sluggish trudge as I made my way through the forest towards the pathway to my cottage. Was I just… wasting my time? And now, wasting Everett’s time, too? ‘Wow, don’t you look depressed,’ Everett hummed. My eyes, once staring at the dirt beneath me, shot up to meet Ev’s beautiful and piercing grey eyes, ‘You’re already here?’ Resting against the front door, arms crossed, and his foot pressed against the door, ‘You did say to meet after school, right?’
