Chapter 15 Quadratic Problems Dad must not have seen Darcie leave, and if he did, he didn’t pay any mind to her. He’s in a decent-enough mood that he picks up a pizza for dinner, a rarity because of my closely watched diet, but this is an artisanal pie from some overpriced restaurant, so while it might look like a chain-store pizza at first, this one is made with kale and goat cheese and organic chicken.
