Mighty Forces in Play
“Are you sure you can’t figure out a way to make this work?” Sierra asks. We’re in the library for lunch rather than the auditorium as Lily and I have assignments that need attention. Sierra’s supposed to be quizzing me with my Advanced Bio flashcards, not harping at me about why Darcie Drayer’s harebrained plan is a no-go. She got all caught up with our conversation last night after finishing at her babysitting job, but as Lily predicted, I was long asleep before the two of them spent an hour in our group chat debating the finer points of why I should take Darcie up on her offer.
