The karaoke place is busy, as per usual on a Saturday night, so we have to wait about fifteen minutes to get a room. Even then, we end up sharing with another group of girls our age who are out celebrating one of their birthdays. I’d ordinarily be nervous about singing in front of strangers, but I’m so hyped up after listening to the band, I don’t care who listens in. Invite the whole world! Even though Lily and Sierra are in our school’s choir too, they don’t love singing the way I do.
