Chapter 14 Whatever, Mermaid By the time I reach Wednesday of the next week, my shoulders finally relax and my stomach stops aching every time I see my dad, every time I see him with a scowl as he looks down at his phone. If no one has sent a video by now of me dancing at the Beanery last weekend, I’m probably in the clear.
