Chapter 9
Saturday, October 17th
Dear Journal,
Sorry I haven’t updated you in a while. I wanted to write the things Mom said when we talked before rehearsal yesterday. I told her the whole story of Jacey and Trish, how they’ve been super mean ever since I stopped hanging out with them. Then how I snapped at Franny. Mom said I should have told her earlier because it helps to talk things out with someone you trust. I do trust her, but I guess the whole thing embarrassed me. She reminded me that the Bible says we should, “if possible, live peaceably with all men,” in Romans 12:18, and it isn't always possible. She said it was good to take Pastor Chaz’s advice and try to stay positive and be polite to them. Talking with her made me feel better. Mom pointed out that Jacey doesn’t know Jesus
