After several hours massaging Katie’s legs, Sophia activated the pressure point that started contractions. As soon as Tibor had left their house on Saturday morning, Sophia had called Katie and convinced her to let her help induce labor without drugs. Olive didn’t understand what the big deal was. Sophia had insisted that it was better for Katie and the baby than using a synthesized form of a natural hormone that Olive couldn’t pronounce or remember. Twenty-six hours went by.
