Chapter 22
When Aunt Barb’s white compact pulled into the parking lot of Coffee Fix, Olive couldn’t believe how many other cars were there. There were only three free parking spaces in the parking lot.
“Wow, I didn’t expect there to be so many people. Everyone in the youth group must have come,” Olive said.
“Not just your youth group. Kit invited a few other youth groups too. This place will be a human sardine can in half an hour,” Aunt Barb explained. “Hurry, Olive. I want to get seats before they’re gone… oh and a peppermint mocha.”
When they got through the doors, Olive spotted Anna, May, Tanya, Melissa, and Fawn who sat together. There were two empty spots next to them, which Olive assumed were for her and Aunt Barb.
“Thanks for saving us seats,” Olive said.
