Chapter 24
Saying goodbye to contacts forever, or at least he hoped, Adam removed the giant contact lenses that had turned his scleras light orange and his pupils bright orange and black. As Jennifer took off Olive’s wig and unpinned her hair, it fell in soft curls around her face. She took a wet wipe and rubbed off all of her makeup, passing one to James so he could do the same. Then they both grabbed the entire pack of wipes and started on Adam. First Olive and James got his arms clean. Adam rubbed the purple paint off of his neck and face while James took care of his ears.
“Well,” Olive said, “I think that is as good as it’s going to get without us hosing you off.”
“Thanks for the help. Goodbye Zebular Zed Epsilon,” Adam said.
