Chapter 14
When Olive got up Monday morning, she got dressed in a pair of yoga pants and a long sleeved tunic. Her clothes were perfect for the two-mile run her gym teacher had promised for today. She slipped her white jean jacket over the tunic which dressed up her outfit. She wanted to be comfortable, but she didn’t want to look like a slob. When she opened her devotional book, the verse confused her.
“The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them. -Psalm 145:18-19”
Hmmm, what is that supposed to be about, God? What is the difference between calling on You and calling on You in truth? What desires do I have? Do I want to be a photographer? Do I hope to date Dean
