She floated through the day like a vapor observing the world. Olive still hadn’t recovered from Monday, and Tuesday wouldn’t go away no matter how hard Olive wished. Jacey wasn’t around, since she was in the suspension room, but Trish had tried to talk to her. Even though Olive wanted to care what Trish was trying to say, it was too hard. She asked if they could talk another time because she had a headache. The Mashables were quiet at lunch, which Olive definitely didn’t object to.
