When your a hockey star all you care about is your game and all the puck bunnies you can get in your bed. I was the captain of the Hawks and I loved my life. We were currently celebrating another win and one of the teammates through a party. I was standing in the kitchen when my name was called.

"Wesley" I hear

I spin around to see Shawn waving me over.

"What's up man?" I say

"Do you know that chick?" He says nodding to a short brunette chick

i shake my head and walk towards her.

"Hello beautiful" I say

She looks me up and down and rolls her eyes and goes back to talking to her friend.

"Excuse me" I say

"Your excused" She says with a attitude

I was in shock that she was trying to ignore me.

"Scar" Someone shouts

She grins and hands her cup to her friend and takes off sprinting over to Blake. She jumps wrapping herself around him hugging him tight. I walk towards them and I hear her laughing.

"Damn girl stop eating" Blake says and puts her down

She smacks him and laughs.

"YOur just mad that I can eat more than you and not need to work out" She says doing a spin

"That I am little bit" He says

"OH hey Wesley" He says

"Blake" I say nodding

"Scarlette this is Wesley" He tells her

I smirk and she rolls her eyes at me

"I know." She says

"You met?" Blake asks

"NO. I know who he is. He's f****d his way through the whole campus" She says

"NOw wait a minute" I say

"Bro don't argue with her. LIttle cousin is on the debate team you will lose and you know your a man w***e" Blake says

"Cousin" I say in shock

"Yes she is my cousin. And I will kick your ass. " He tells me

"OH trust me Blake you won't need to cause I know how to say no to a player." She says

"So you coming to the game Friday?" He asks her

"Of course. Now where is my jersey?" SHe asks

"On top of my dresser i'll grab it before you leave" He tells her

"Leave. Cousin your funny. I'm not going anywhere. I transferred here and i'm moving in with you" She says with a smirk

"The hell you are" He shouts

She flinches and her bottom lip trembled.

"Ah s**t. Scar i'm sorry" He says

"Don't bother. I'll stay with Cassie" She says shoving his arm away from her

She stomps off and drags who i'm guessing is Cassie away.

"Son of a b***h. Damnit. Ugh she's gonna make me kiss her ass now. I'm gonna have to let her move in and then the parties will stop here." He groans

"Dude you don't have to let her and if she does why do the parties stop?" I ask

"Yes I do. And yes they will. Not my story to tell. I better go find her" He says sighing

He walks away and about twenty minutes later he walks through carrying her against his chest.

"Wesley get everyone out now" He growls

I nod and shut it all down and once the last person was gone I locked the house and cleaned up some. He comes down a little while later and sighs.

"She ok?" I ask

"She's sleeping thankfully. Ugh she's gonna be the death of me this year" He says with a groan

"Well i'm gonna head out and i'll see you at practice" I say

He nods and thanks me for getting everyone out. I nod and leave and head home.

Scarlette's POV

I went to class the next day and then went to the rink to find Blake. I showed up during practice and the coach come over to me.

"Scarlette" He says

"Hey Matty" I say with a smile

He chuckles and hugs me.

"Hey is that position still open? I kinda need the extra cash" I say

"Of course. It's yours" He says

"Scar" Blake says

"Hey. I need your key. You didn't give me one" I say

"OH yeah. GO in the locker room and it's in my jeans" He tells me

"We need to talk" I tell him

"Alright. I'll be home after practice" He says

"Can someone drop you off? I wanna take the truck and go get some groceries" I say

"I can" Wesley says

"Thanks" i mumble

He nods and the guys whistle when I stand up.

"I will murder you all" Blake snarls

"Blake it's fine. Thanks for the job Matty. I'll call you later" " I say

"Alright sweetheart" He says

"Coach i'm telling the wife" One of the guys calls

"Call her i'd love to talk to Amy." I say with a attitude

His jaw drops and my phone starts ringing. The weekend blares on my phone and I grin and answer it.

"Hey babe" I say

Blake growls and I smirk. I talk for a little bit and then hang up.

"Who was that?" Blake asks

"My girlfriend" I say with a smrik

HIs jaw drops and so does the other boys.

"What the hell" He mutters

"Alright boys i'm out" I call heading to the locker room

BY time i got home and unloaded everything I decided to cook and made enough encase some of the guys come with him. The door opens just as I was stirring everything. Music was blaring through the kitchen and I was dancing along to the Weekend. The music lowered and I spun around and gasped.

"Good lord don't scare me like that" I snap at all the boys

"LIttle cousin what are you wearing?" Blake asks

"MY yoga clothes. Now do you wanna ask stupid questions or would you like to eat some steak?" I ask raising a brow at him

"With mashed potatoes?" He asks licking his lips

"When do i not make them when I cook steak?" I ask

"Oh I changed my mind about you living here" He says kissing the side of my head

LIke I loved you starts playing and I start swaying and singing along still stirring the food that was still cooking. Blake grabs my hand and spins me and dances me around the kitchen. I laugh as he moves with me so easily.

"What the hell" One of the guys say

"I made him take lessons with me. I know he's man w***e but if your gonna date someone you gotta be able to dance. Dating me you must know how to dance" I say as he spins me out and back in

"Really?" One of them says

"Yeah" I say

"Girls like that s**t?" he asks

"Absolutely." I say

"Can you teach me?" He asks

"Of course. Who is the lucky lady" I ask

"My fiance" He says

The guys gasp and I grin. I wave him over and he walks over to me and I place his hands where they need to be.

"Don't think and just follow along" I tell him

He nods and I move and he moves with me easily and I grin at him. Beautiful Crazy starts up and I start singing along. He smiles at me and I wink at him. He spins me and pulls me back and then dips me as the song ends.

"You did great. I've taught worse" I say to him

"Thank you" He says

"Anytime. I wanna meet this special lady" I say

"Of course" He says

I go back to dinner and when it's finished I fix my plate and I take a seat and the boys grab them something to eat. The all moan when they take a bite and I smirk.

"It's been a minute since I mad a man moan" I say with a laugh

"Scar" Blake says in shock

"Blake i'm a grown woman. YOur little innocent cousin hasn't been innocent in years. get use to it" I tell him

"Still" He grumbles

"Still nothing. Suck it up buttercup" I say to him

He grumbles and I kick him under the table.

"Don't start with me mister" I snap

"alright i'm sorry" He says

"What's going on later?" Wesley asks

"I have dance class. I'm gonna head to the studio and get my workout in" I say and look at blake

"Can I come? it's been a while since I seen you dance" He says

"Sure. My methods have changed a bit" I say

"How?" He asks

"I take pole dancing classes and no pervs it's good for the muscles. I didn't get my abs out of no where" I say

Blake's jaw drops.

"Since when?" He asks

"Six months ago" I say shrugging

"Oh" He says with a sad smile

"Well ya'll clean up I gotta go" I say standing and stretching

I run and grab what I need and head to the door. I walk out the door and walk across campus and to my class. The class is only a hour long so once it's over I stay for some alone time. I turn on some music and Mercy comes on and I smile and sing along softly. I change the music and I walk over to the pole and swing myself around and do my routine and when i was done I was panting.

"Woah" I hear behind me

I turn to see Wesley watching me.

"What are you doing here?" I ask

"Blake sent me to pick you up so you didn't have to walk home in the dark" He tells me

"Let me grab my stuff" I say

I slip on leggings over my shorts and slip on my shoes. We head out and I climb in his car and he drives to the house.

"So how long you been dancing?" He asks

"My whole life" I say

He hums and pulls into the driveway. I get out and we head inside. But when I get to the kitchen my bags hit the floor. No one cleaned the f*****g kitchen. I growl and go over an start cleaning everything. I was slamming s**t and once the dish washer was loaded I started washing the stuff that wouldn't fit in the dish washer.

"Scarlette" Blake says

"Don't Blake. I asked you to do one goddamn thing. Hell I went and done the shopping cause you hate doing it and then I cooked for two hours. The least you could have done is wash the f*****g dishes" I say slamming down a glass

It shatters and I sigh. I turn and say f**k it and yank up my bags and push past him.

"Dude what the f**k was that about?" Wesley says

Two month time skip

I had finally got the money from my lawsuit so I decided to buy a house for myself. I was out with the realtor when we came across a house I loved. She showed me around and I fell in love with it. I wrote her a check and she handed over the keys. I left and headed to Blake's to do some online shopping to get all I needed. When he come in and sat down he seen I was online shopping for furniture.

"What is this?" He asks

"I'm moving out" I say not looking at him

We haven't spoken since I lost my s**t on him.

"WHere?" He asks

"I bought a house" I say

"With what money?" He asks

"I won a lawsuit. I got my money and I bought a house today. I'll be out by tomorrow" I say

I grab my laptop and go to the guest room and close the door. The next day I headed to the house to the moving guys in. Once all the big furniture was in it's place I needed to go get small things and get a vehicle. I pull up my contacts and dialed the one person I didn't wanna call.

"Hello" He says

"Wesley it's Scarlette. Are you busy?" I ask

"Not at the moment" He says

"Could you take me to the dealership?" I ask

"I'll be there in five" He says

He pulls up a few minutes later and I jump in and he drives me to town. We pull up and I look around. I wanted a truck cause that's what I was use to driving. I found one I was in love with and went to talk to the man about it.

"Your payments would be around $450 a month" He says

"No they won't. I'm buying right out" I tell him

His eyes widen and he gets it all set up and I sign the paper work and the payment goes through. He hands me the keys and I walk out with a smile on my face.

"Where to now?" Wesley says

"I gotta hit up Ikea" I say

"Want some help?" He asks

"Sure" I say shrugging

He follows me to IKEA and we walk in and I go down the list grabbing everything I need. We loaded everything on my truck and headed back to my house. He helped me unload and get everything set up and by time we were I was exhausted. I flopped down on the couch and my stomach growled.

"Thanks for today. This would have taken forever by myself" I say

"No problem" He says

"Ugh i'm so hungry but I don't want to cook. I haven't been grocery shopping either" I whine out

"How about pizza. I can order" He says

"That sounds great. Movie?" I ask

"Sure" He says

"MInd if I shower really quick?" I ask

"Go ahead" He says

I run off and shower and when I was done I slipped on some short spandex shorts and a tank top that showed my lower stomach and I headed back. When i got back out pizza was here so I sat down and I could feel him staring at me. I look over and he was looking at me with wide eyes.

"What?" I ask

"You were kidding about abs" He says

I laugh and shake my head and bite into a slice of pizza and moan. I turn on a horror movie and lean back into the couch getting comfy. I pull the blanket off the back of the couch and cover my legs. We ate and just watched the movie and then I leaned over laying down across half the couch and sighed. I bumped Wesley on accident and looked up at him.

"Sorry" I say with a yawn

He shakes his head and I go back to the movie. I don't know when i fell asleep but I was woke up to yelling.

"What the hell is this?" Blake yells

I jump awake and look down to see Wesley had his arms wrapped around me and I was asleep against him.

"Calm the f**k down dude. We fell asleep watching a movie. I helped her get her house in order and she offered to feed me." Wesley says with a groan

"Wes let go" I say

"Oh sorry. I didn't want you rolling off the couch" he says

"No problem but I have to pee so let go" I tell him

He releases me and I jump up and go pee and come back to Blake yelling at Wesley.

"Stay the f**k away from her" Blake says

"No your decision to make. Blake get out. THis is my home and your not gonna barge in whenever you want. Wesley thanks for yesterday and last night. Let's go out for drinks tonight. I haven't been to a good bar" I say with a smirk

"Sure. I'll be here at 8. I gotta get to practice but i'll call you after" He says

"sounds good." I say

He nods and leaves and I roll my eyes at Blake and he shakes his head at me and leaves.

Time ship later that night

I was ready to do and I looked good. I had on a short black dress and my stilettos. My long hair was straight and my make up was on point. There was a knock on the door so I opened it and Wesley stood there.

"Ready?" I ask

He looked me up and down and nodded. We slipped in his car and he drove to a packed out bar. He got us in and we headed to the bar. We got drinks and I downed my first one. I heard some girls talking about me and he sighed.

"Don't worry about it. I'm here with you. We may just be friends but we came together" He tells me

I smirk and pull him to the dance floor with me. I spin and place my back to his front and I move against him. His hands find my hips and he moves with me. Twerk comes on and I grin. I bend over and shake my ass against him quickly. When it ended I looked over my shoulder and he was panting.

"Sorry" I say

"Don't be. enjoy yourself" He says

"Drink" I shout

He nods and leads me over to the bar. He orders another round and I we throw the shots back. Blake and some of the other guys come in.

"Scar this is Carley." Adam says

"Omg it's so nice to meet you" I tell her

"You to." she says with a grin

Kream comes on and I grin. I grab Wesley and pull him back to the dance floor. I move against him singing along. Good songs kept coming on so we danced and drank a lot. I went to the bathroom and come back to find Wesley with his tongue down some girls throat. I walk over to Adam an Carley and grinned at them.

"We are heading home" She tells me

"Could you drop me on your way?" I ask

They nod and we leave. By time I get home I headed in and stripped and got in the shower. Someone was banging on my door so I stepped out wrapping a towel around me and going and yanking the door open.

"What the f**k Scarlette? Why did you leave. I thought something happened to you" He yells at me

"You were busy and Adam was leaving so he brought me home" I say

"What are you on about?" He snaps

"I seen you wesley. You had you tongue down some chicks throat." I say

"Scarlette no I didn't. I told you i came there with you and you alone. If you noticed Blake wore the same shirt as me" He says

"s**t. sorry. I didn't wanna interrupt your pick me up so I left. I was getting tired anyways and I've buzzing good" I say

"Next time just talk to me." He says

He looks down at smirks at me. I look down and sigh. I was in a towel and still went and soapy.

"I was in the shower" I say

"I see that" He says with a chuckle

"Wanna stay?" I ask

"Scarlette" He says sighing

"Look Wesley i'm not asking for a relationship or for you to fall in love with me. A simple friends with benefits would be great" I tell him

"Seriously" He says

"Yeah. But if your gonna sleep with someone else while we are together then this ends. I have a right to protect myself" I tell him

"Understood" He says

"Now close and lock the door and come shower with me" I tell him

He runs out the door and comes back with a bag and closes and locks the door and I pull him to the bathroom. My music was playing but I turned the hot water back on and I drop the towel and step back into the glass shower. Wesley stripped and stepped in and his hands found my hips. I rinsed my hair and looked up at him. He leaned down and kissed me hard and I kissed him back just as hard. I pulled back and looked at him.

"How mad would you be if we just slept tonight? I'm still buzzing and i'm tired" I say

"That's fine. Let's go cuddle and turn on a movie" He tells me

"You cuddle?" I ask raising a brow

"Yes Scarlette I like to cuddle. Sue me" he says with a smirk

"I think I like you a little more now" I say

"There are so many other things your gonna like about me" He says

"If Blake asks just tell him we are dating. I don't wanna deal with him and it's none of his business" I say

"I'm ok with that. I don't wanna deal with him either" He tells me

I nod and we finish up and get out and dry off. I slip on some boy shorts and a t shirt and crawl in bed. I plug in my phone and Wesley joins me in just his boxers. I turn on a movie and I lay down cuddling into him and close my eyes. When I wake up the next morning Wesley was gone and i sighed. I got up and got dressed and headed to campus. I had on tight jeans and a cut low cut shirt and I had my headphones in. I was walking across the grass when arms wrapped around me. I pull my headphones out and look over my shoulder and smile.

"Sorry baby. I had practice early this morning and you were sleeping so good" He says

"No problem. Next time tell me though and i'll make breakfast" I tell him

"as long as it is half naked" He whispers in my ear

I giggle and he kisses my neck softly.

"Wesley" someone calls

"Oliver" He says

"Scarlette" He says nodding at me

"Oli' I say

"How you been girl?" He asks eyeing me

"I'm great actually. Just bought a house and a truck" I say with a smirk

"What is this?" Blake says

"Wesley and i are dating." i say

His jaw drops and I see the anger grow.

"fine Scarlette but when he f***s you over don't come crawling to me" He says and walks off

My shoulders sag and I suddenly don't wanna go to class.

"I'm gonna go home" i tell Wes

He let's me go and I drive home. When I enter the house I close the door but it opens and closes again. I turn to see wesley standing there and the tears start.

"Hey come on now baby. It's ok" He tells me hugging me

"No it's not. Blake has always been my rock. What he just said hurts more than you know" I whisper

"Why?" he asks

I turn and sit down and curl up and he sits by me.

"TWo years ago i went to a party. LOng story short the girls I thought were my friends used me. I was drugged and r***d. I went to the police the next morning. They were all caught and sentenced. That is where all my money come from. Blake doesn't know I sued." I say not looking at him

He doesn't say anything so I think he's disgusted by me now.

"Hey look at me" He tells me

I peek over at him and he sighs.

"Listen to me. That is not your fault." He tells me

"Are you sure you still wanna do this? If people find out i'm gonna be the pity charity project" I say

"Scar you are anything but that. I like you ok. YOu I don't care about that other stuff. I'm ok with just cuddling you to death til your ready for anything else" He tells me

I smile and lean over kissing him and he kisses me back. I pull back and he pulls me into his chest and I snuggle in close. he reaches over and turns on a movie and wraps blanket around us.
