He Saved Me

Vanessa's POV

I was laying on my bed reading a erotic book when I smelt smoke. I jumped up and yanked my bedroom door open to see flames at the end of the hall. I gasped and slammed the door and grabbed my phone calling 911. They told me the fire fighters were on their way but I didn't know how I was going to get me and Lily out of here. I was crying and coughing cause the smoke was coming under my door. I don't know when but I passed out.

Alex's POV

I rushed into the apartment when i heard someone was still inside. My best friend was on my heels and I kicked the bedroom door open. I saw a woman passed out on the floor and a dog as well.

"Get the dog" I say picking up the woman

Greyson grabs the dog and we rush out and to the paramedics. I lay on her on the stretcher and get some oxygen on her. She was taken to the hospital and we rushed the dog to the vet. We headed back to the firehouse. The day finished up and I was told the woman was awake so I headed to the hospital to check on her. When I walked in I heard her yelling and I smirked.

"Get the hell out you dumbass. I swear doctors only get more stupid as the years go on. I don't want your help." She screams

I push the door open and she looks at me and glares.

"Leave" I tell the doctor

He gulps and walks out and I close the door.

"Well I see your feeling better" I say

"Who the hell are you?" She snaps at me

"I would be the firefighter that carried you out of your burning apartment" I say to her

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry. I'm cranky and they won't tell me where Lily is and I can't f*****g leave" She says rubbing her temples

"Lily is your dog?" I ask

"Yes" She says sighing

"She's at the vet. She was passed out by you but I checked on her and she's fine. You can pick her up once your released. Now is there any family I can call for you?" I ask

"No." She says and looks out the window

"Well do you have a friend you a friend you can stay with?" I ask

"No" She says not looking at me

"Miss. James. You can go home" The doctor says handing over her papers

She takes them and nods but doesn't say anything. She gets up and gets dressed not caring that I was still standing there.

"Come on i'll take you to the vet" I tell her

She goes to argue and I raise a brow at her and she sighs and nods. I lead her to my truck and she climbs in and we are off. When we arrived at the vet she was out before I shut the truck off. I followed her in and found her in the floor playing with Lily. I chuckle and her head whips around and she looks at me and I wink at her. She turns around and kisses the dogs nose and bows her head. After a few minutes she stands and Lily follows her out the door.

"Can you take me to my apartment? I need to see if I can find my wallet and grab some things that are destroyed hopefully" She says

I nod and we all climb in and when we get there she sucks in a harsh breath but gets out and I follow her. When we enter I can tell her emotions are getting the better of her but I don't say anything. She walks to her room and grabs a bag and starts packing some stuff. I seen her pack some pictures and then look around and shake her head.

"Could you drive me to a hotel?" She asks

"No hotels around here allow dogs" I say

"Damnit" She cries out

"Come on I know I place you can stay" I tell her

She looks at me and sighs but nods and I grab her bags and we head out. Once we get to my house she looks at me but I get out and head in and leave her bags in the laundry room so she can wash everything.

"Whose place is this?" She asks

"Mine" I say

"No way" She says turning to the door

"Vanessa come on you can stay here and i'll stay at the firehouse. You can have Lily here and when I have to stay here you will barely see me." I tell her

"Why?" She asks

"No reason. You need a place to stay and I have the room. Would it make you feel better if we set up some rules?" I ask

"Yes" She says nodding

"Sit down and i'll grab us a drink and we will talk" I tell her

She nods and takes a seat and Lily lays at her feet. I walk away and come back with drinks and take a seat on the other end of the couch.

"Alright I wanna pay some type of rent" She says

"Vanessa come on I have no rent so how about you just helps out with groceries and pay the water bill and I'll pay the power and do groceries as well. We can split the internet bill" I tell her

"Fine. If your gonna bring anyone home please warn me first so I can leave" She says

I smirk and look at her.

"NO worry of that." I tell her

She hums and sips her drink and sighs.

"Come on you look tired ill show you where you can sleep" I tell her

She nods and stands and lIly follows her. I lead her past my room and into the guest room and that was huge.

"Woah" She says

"What?" I ask

"It's huge" She says

Not the only thing that's huge I think to myself.

"Decorate how you want. We can go tomorrow and get whatever you need" I tell her

"It won't be a lot I don't get paid til next week" She says

"Vanessa we will get it and you will just have to deal with it. Now the back yard is fenced in and tomorrow me and the guys have the day off so we will get it taken care of ok" I tell her

Her eyes fill with tears and she looks at me and I step towards her and yank her into my chest and hug her tight and she cries. I lift her up and walk over to the bed and lay her under the covers. She sniffles and looks up at me.

"Get some sleep alright." I tell her

She nods and closes her eyes and I pat the bed for Lily to jump up and once they were settled I walked out closing the door. I walked down throwing her things in the washer and waiting and drying them. Once they were done I laid them on top of the dryer and went to bed.

THE NEXT DAY

Vanessa's POV

I got up and got a shower and then realized I didn't have my clothes. I wrapped the thin small towel around myself and walk down the hall.

"Hey Alex" i call

I stop in my tracks when I reach the living room and see a bunch of men sitting around.

"Yeah" He says behind me

I spin around and gulp.

"Where are my clothes?" I ask

"Top of the dryer" He says

I nod and skip past him and into the laundry room and I grab my clothes and head back to my room. He thought I was gonna be embarrassed about being in a towel so I through on my sexy cut offs and a tank top that showed off a little bit of my flat tummy and then i dried my hair and did my make up and headed back to the living room.

"Boys" I say leaning on the door frame

"Damn" One says under his breathe

"Well are we heading out or?" I ask

"Let's go." Alex says

"Lily" I yell and whistle

She comes running in and sits at my feet wagging her tail.

I head for the door and Lily follows as I climb in the truck. We head to IKEA and when we get in I look at Alex and he sighs.

"Get whatever you need. It's ok I promise" He tells me

"Fine but you will regret that" I say

I grab everything to do my room and a few things for around the house and smile when i'm done.

"Can we stop at the mall?" I ask

He nods and pulls in and we run in to grab me a few more clothes and then I run into Spencers to grab some more body jewelry since I lost all mine. Once we were done we headed back to the house and I started on my room and put in all my piercings and then went to the kitchen to find a Iphone on the counter for me so I shrug and turn on some music and I pull stuff out to cook some dinner for everyone. I decided on chicken fajitas and got to cooking. I was chopping and singing and dancing around the kitchen when someone dropped something behind me and I spin around. All the guys were standing there with their jaws hanging open.

"Um can I help you with something?" I ask

"What are you doing?" Alex asks

"Um cooking dinner for everyone but if your not hungry i'll happily eat it myself" I say shrugging

"No way. what cha cooking girl?" One asks

"Ok first names" I say

"I'm Greyson i'm this dummies best friend. THis is Titus, Luke, Duke, and lastly we have Carter." Greyson tells me

"Alright faces to names. And chicken fajitas. Now someone go on a beer run" I say

"On it. Anything you want?" Luke asks

"Beer is fine" I say

They look at me like i'm crazy and I roll my eyes at them. Luke shrugs but heads out anyways.

"What can we help with?" Greyson asks

"Someone feed Lily and then set the table" I say

They nod and get to work and I finish it all up by time Luke walks in with cases of beer. He cracks one open and hands it to me and I take a long drink and sigh.

"Hmm that's good" I say

Greyson chuckles and I wink at him. We all take a seat and we dig into dinner.

"OH i'm taking you home with me. This is amazing" Carter says

"Thank you. I love to cook." I say

"So Vanessa tells us about you" Greyson says eyeing Alex

"I'm 26. I work down at the vet clinic actually and i'm in school full time." I say

"Really?" Greyson says

"Yes" I say nodding

"Are you seeing anyone" He asks

"No" I say quickly

Everyone looks at me with wide eyes and I get up cleaning up after dinner.

"What time do you all work tomorrow?" I ask

"Tomorrow night" Alex says

"Let's go out. I feel like dancing" I say

All the guys nod and say they are gonna run home and change and meet us back here. I head to my room and pull out high waisted shorts, a cute shirt, and shoes. I slip in all my jewelry and curl my hair and darken my makeup. I slip on my clothes and grab my phone and head back to the living room to find all the guys waiting.

"Ready?" I ask

They all snap their eyes to me and two of them lick their lips.

"Let's go" Greyson says

We walk out and Greyson was on his bike. I eye it and gulp.

"Wanna ride?" He asks me

I shake my head and head to the truck and climb in. Once we get to the club I go for a drink and then pull Greyson out to dance with me. I moved against him with ease and took my time dancing with all the guys. Slow Down come on and I danced along to the music getting lost in it. Some guy grabbed my hips and I pulled away from him.

"Get off" I say

"Come on baby" He says grabbing me again

"Get the f**k away from me" I say in warning

He grabbed me again and I twisted his arm behind his back and dropped him to the floor and walked away from him. I slid into the booth and all the guys looked at me in amazement.

"How the hell" They say

"Self defense. I live alone so I thought why not" I say

I downed a shot and then another and sighed rolling my shoulders. A hand lands on my thigh and I look to see it's Alex. He rubs his thumb back and forth softly calming me down and I sigh and relax.

"I know you feel it Ness" I hear in my ear

I look at him and my flick down to his lips and then back to his eyes and I sigh.

"Let go and I'll make sure you never regret it" He whispers in my ear

Another hand lands on my other thigh and I look over to see Greyson looking at me with hunger.

"We all want you Ness. Let go and you won't regret it" Greyson says

I look at Luke and Duke and they lick their lips and nod and I look at Alex and sigh.

"I swear to god if you make me regret this I will drop you harder than i did that guy out" I say

He cuts me off kissing me hard. A hand travels up my thigh and to the inside of my shorts and it pushes my panties aside and a finger sinks into me. I moan into Alex's mouth and then he's pulling back and pulling me up and we are all rushing home. Once I was inside the house they had me naked in no time at all. Alex bent me over the couch and slid into my fast and I screamed out. It wasn't long before a c**k was down my throat and two were in my hands. We were all groaning and moaning. By time we were done I was exhausted so I didn't move from my spot on the floor. I was picked up and bathed and then put to bed where I slept til my alarm went off for me to go to work. I got up and left the guys and went to work. When I got off the guys were at work so I headed to the firehouse and brought them dinner.

"Honey i'm home" I sing out

All heads pop out and I see some guys I don't know but Alex grins and walks over kissing me softly. He leads me through the firehouse and to the dining room so I can place all the food down.

"THere is plenty so boys come eat" I call out

They all rush in getting a plate and moan and I giggle.

"This is amazing" A man says

"Ness this is the Chief. Chief this lovely lady is Vanessa" Alex says

"Nice to meet you" I say

"You to sweetheart. i may have to replace you with my wife" He says taking another bite

I giggle and the guys growl.

"No way chief she's off limits" Greyson says

He kisses the top of my head as he passes my to put his plate in the sink.

"You to?" Someone asks

"US five" Alex says looking at me with worry

"Really?" The same guy says

"Yes. We are all together. Problem?" i ask eyeing him

"Not at all. Now thank god we aren't the only ones" He says smirking

"Oh" I say smiling

"Unfortunately we are gay sweets" He says

"To bad" I say winking at him

He chuckles and another guy growls.

"Oh buddy calm your nerve but I do it. He is fine if any man or woman don't see that they are f*****g blind" I snap

He frowns and his man smirks and high fives me.

"See told you" LUke says to him

"Luke something I need to know?" I ask eyeing him

"I'm BI" He says

"I'll have to remember that" I say

I get up and clean up and a young girl about my age walks in.

"Boys" She purrs

"Get out Cassie. You aren't welcome here." Alex says

"But Alex" She whines

I walk over standing in front of Alex and he wraps his arms around me and she glares.

"Problem? No good now leave" I snarl

She huffs and stomps out and the guys chuckle.

"What?" I ask

"Nothing sweets. Well i'm headed to the gym" He says

"Oh can I come?" I ask

"You actually work out or stare at me?" He asks raising a brow

"A little of both" I say with a grin

He chuckles and waves me over and skip over and we head in. I change into my workout clothes and go over to the wall of mirrors and turn on my music and me and U come on and I start dancing to it. By time it finished I was panting and sweaty and moved onto the next song. When that finished I looked up to see all the guys standing behind me with their arms crossed watching me.

"What?" I ask taking a drink of my water

"Nothing just watching" Justin says smirking

Twerk comes on and I grin and really start moving.

"Holy f**k" I hear behind me

I smirk and move my ass quickly. When it was over I was laying on the floor panting and the Alex was standing over me and I smiled up at him. He offers me his hand and I take it and he pulls me up and wraps a arm around my sweaty body.

"And to think you were worried about me watching you" I say to Justin

"Hey I can help it." He says smirking

The alarm sounds and all the guys take off to get ready. They look at me and I roll my eyes.

"Go. Be safe" I yell at them

They smile and take off. I head home and shower and slip on some of my cotton shorts and a shirt that shows my tummy and hangs off my shoulder.

1 YEAR TIME SKIP

I was laying on the couch watching tv waiting on Alex to get home. Alex and Greyson and I were still in a relationship but LUke and Duke met someone and are dating her and I was happy for them. There was a knock on the door so i walk over and answer it and it was Luke.

"What?" I ask

"Ness" He whispers

My whole body goes frigid and my eyes fill with tears. My knees give out and Luke catches me and lifts me up and carries me to the truck. We pull up to the firehouse and he walks me in carrying most my weight. He leads me to the chief who hugs me and the water works start and I cling to him. He rubs my back and kisses the top of my head.

"Vanessa sweetheart calm down" He tells me

"Oh Vanessa honey come here" April the chiefs wife says

She pulls me from him and hugs me like any mother hugs her child.

"Breathe baby. It's ok. We will find them I promise" She tells me

I pull back and Luke curses.

"Them?" I say

"Honey Alex and Greyson are both missing" She tells me

That's the last thing I hear before everything goes black.

When I wake up again I was in a bed. April was sitting by me and I sigh and sit up.

"Any word?" I ask

Her eyes snap to me and she shakes her head. I get up and walk downstairs and all the guys were sitting around talking but stop when they see me.

"Tell me something" I say

"There was a forrest fire and we went. Their radios went out and now we can't find them" Luke says

My knees give and Duke shoots over catching me. He pulls me into his lap and wraps his arms around me and rocks me back and forth while I cry again.

"I can't lose them" I sob into his chest

"Nessa baby you aren't going to. They are fine and they will find their way back" He tells me

I cling to him and then I hear a screech and Luke curses.

"Why the f**k is that slut on him" THeir girlfriend cries

"Grace stop it" Luke tells her

"Get the w***e off him" She cries

I jump up and stomp over to her decking her right in the nose.

"My boyfriends are f*****g missing. I don't have time for your pathetic ass. Get the f**k out this is my family" I roar

She whimpers and runs out scared and I turn to see all the guys in shock. I give my hand a shake and I whimper when my finger hurts.

"Its dislocated" I whimper

"come here physco" Duke says

I walk over to him and straddle his lap and luke holds my shoulders.

"Sorry" I whisper

"Don't be. it's ok. We were going to end it anyways" Luke says kissing the top of my head

Duke sigh and pops my finger and I cry out and he kisses my knuckles and pulls me into his chest and rubs my back calming me down. Luke puts a ice pack on my hand and lays a blanket over my back. I fell asleep at some point and then i was being woke up by someone kissing me. I open my eyes and see Alex and Greyson. I jump up and jump on them holding them tightly and sobbing.

"It's ok baby. We are fine. calm down" Alex says kissing my head

"here it comes" I hear behind me

I step back and smack them both silly.

"What the f**k is wrong with you two? I could have lost you both. Not only did you give me a f*****g heart attack but everyone else in this damn place as well. I should murder you both with my bare hands" I scream at them

they smile and look at me and then behind me.

"Marry me" Alex says

"What? Alex be serious" I say rolling my eyes

"I am serious." He says holding up a diamond ring

I gasp and look at him and then Grey and he smiles and nods.

"yes" I say

He slips the ring on my finger and kisses me hard and whistles ring out.

"But what about Greyson?" I ask with a pout

"Oh baby i'm not going anywhere. I love you. We will stay the same you will just be married" He says shrugging

Hugs were passed all around and I finally looked at my life and was in love with it.
