What to do?

My name is Annabelle but most everyone calls me Belle like from beauty and the beast. It was my all time favorite disney movie growing up. i was currently on my way to meet my sister for dinner tonight. I was exhausted but I had to show up it had something to do with my inheritance. I walked into the fancy restaurant and found her and walked over sitting down.

"Let's get this over with" I grumble tiredly

"I have a new client coming." She says

"f**k that. I'm out" I say standing

"Please don't leave on my account" A mans voice sounds behind me

I swirl around to see a handsome man standing there staring at me. I growl and his eyes widen and I stomp off to the bathroom. Once I was done I headed back but not before I hear them talking.

"We have a deal" He says

I take my seat and glare at my sister.

"What deal?" I ask

"You don't know" He says glaring at my sister

"Know what?"I ask looking at her hard

"I'm not doing this" My sister says standing and leaving

"Follow me and i'll explain. Once I do you can leave or i'll have my driver drive you where ever you want to go" He tells me

He stands and offers me his hand and I look at it but sigh and take it. Once my hand lands in his I feel the sparks but we both ignore it. He opens a door to a fancy SUV and I slide in and he follows.

"To the Royal" he commands the driver

"The Royal?" I ask

"I own it." He says

About ten minutes later we were there and in the private elevator headed to the top. Once we were in his suite he offered me a seat.

"So?" I say

"Drink?" He asks

"Am I going to need it?" I ask

"Yes" he says

"Vodka" I tell him

He nods and pours it over ice and brings it to me and takes a seat.

"Your sister landed herself into some debt with me. A million dollars worth. She offered you to me as payment." He tells me

I look at him in shock and gulp down everything in my glass.

"Did she tell you what I do for a living?" I ask

"No" He says

"I'm a private investigator." I tell him smirking

His eyes widen and I giggle.

"WOw. I never would have guessed" He says in shock

"I'm good at what I do. I look like this is cause I just come off a 24 hour shift." I grumble

"Let me get you a room so you can rest and we can talk tomorrow" He tells me

"No I want to do it now. I always knew daddy's stray was a gonna be a pain in my ass. I want pay back. She has made my life a living hell all my life. I want her to see her fall to her knees." I growl

"How?" He asks raising a brow

"I know she's been cheating on ole dear hubby. I know she got a abortion and told him she miscarried. I know she's stealing from her partner and now she does this to me. I will personally pay back only half of her debt if you help me break every piece of her. I want to see her behind bars for life" I say pacing the floor

"And just how do we do that?" He asks

"I need a little something from you" I tell him shy all of a sudden

"what?" He asks

"A boyfriend. A hot rich boyfriend" I tell him honestly

He leans back in his seat raising a brow at me.

"Look my all my experience with men has been nothing but bad and she knows this. She knows every man i've been with has cheated on me with her or one of her snobby friends. I need someone that will put her in her place. A fake boyfriend and possible engagement. After she is behind bars you can say I cheated and leave. You can make me the bad guy at the end of the day I don't give two fucks." I tell him panting

"Ok wild cat slow down. Let's get you in a hot bath and in some pajamas and in a soft bed and tomorrow we will hash you evil plan" He tells me

"But" I start

"No buts. The only butt I wanna see is your getting naked in that bath tub" He tells me

I growl and stomp off to the bathroom and I hear him chuckle. I start feeling the tub and I strip and slide in sighing. He walks in a few minutes later with a mug and sits it on the counter along with some clothes and I look up at him. His eyes were locked on me and I gulped.

"What?" I ask

"Nothing was just thinking. Feeling better?" He asks leaning on the counter

"Yes. Thank you. I haven't had a relaxing bath in a long time. My apartment doesn't have a tub only a shower. I've been meaning to move but I never have time" I say moaning as the jets pulse in my back

"Well feel free to use mine anything" He tells me

I smile not opening my eyes and then i feel his hands in my hair. He was washing my hair for me. Once he was done he handed me the mug and I sipped it and moaned. I drained it in no time and stepped out of the tub drying off and slipping on the clothes on the counter.

"Take the bed I have to run to the office but i"ll be back before you wake up" He tells me

I nod and crawl in the huge bed and moan when I sink into it. He chuckles and turns the lamp off and I hear the door shut. I slept so long when i woke up it was already 11 so i got up and headed to the living room. When I walked in he was asleep on the couch. I walked over and bent down shaking him slightly. His eyes opened and his eyes were so blue I froze in place.

"Sleep good?" he asks

"I did thank you. Lunch?" I ask

"Room service" He says

"Anything particular?" I ask

"no" He says

I nod and order and before i knew it lunch was over and we had talked about our plan.

"Let's give it two months of dating being seen in public and then i'll take you to meet daddy" I tell him

He nods and says he is going for a shower.

TWO MONTH TIME SKIP

Today was the day we were going to my family home. When we arrived I walked right in and smiled when i seen my dad.

"Daddy this is Alex Campbell." I tell him

"Nice to meet you Sir" Alex says

"You too." Dad says shaking his hand

"Oh Annabelle I didn't know you were bringing someone" Shelby says walking in

"Shelby meet my boyfriend Alex" I tell her smiling

She stops in her tracks and I grin at her.

"Nice to meet you" Alex says

Shelby nods and Alex kisses my temple.

"You too" Shelby mutters

"well let's have lunch" Dad says

I nod and Alex follows me into the dining room and pulls out my chair for me and then sits next to me ignoring Shelby as she just stood there waiting for him to help her as well. She huffs and sits down and I smile.

"So how did you two meet?" Dad asks

"Oh he sent a client my way and my client ran into when I was having a lunch meeting with him and we hit it off. Been what two months now?" i say looking at him

"Little over two months now. Things have been great" He says

'What is it you do for a living?" Dad asks

"Well i have my foot in a lot of pies. But I own the Royal, a few clubs downtown, some other businesses but i'm working on a new secret project right now" He says winking at me

"what project?" Dad asks

"Top secret. We are working on it together. He even invested in my company and now i can expand" I tell dad smiling

"That is amazing baby. I'm proud of you." He says grabbing my hand and kissing the back of it

"I'm very happy with it. Alex is going with me in a month to look into a new building and a new apartment. My apartment isn't for me and I'm thinking about a dog finally. I actually moved all my stuff out of my apartment and it's in storage for now. Alex was nice of eough to give me a suite in his hotel til I find my new home." I say grinning at Shelby who was sour faced

"Something wrong?" Alex asks her

"No of course not. we are happy for you sis" She says

"So you and Hunter gonna try for another baby?" I ask her sipping my wine

"I'm not ready" she says

I nod and we finish lunch. When we got back to the hotel in his suite I hugged him catching him off guard. His arms slowly wrapped around me and I shuddered out a heavy sigh.

"She really gets to you doesn't she?" he asks from above me

I nod into his chest and when I pull back he was looking at me studying my even.

"What?" I ask

"Let's shock the f**k out of her" He tells me

"You my lovely beautiful girlfriend are about to redecorate my mansion and move in it. And in two months i'll be moving in with you. But today we are going to get you a whole new wardrobe. If your gonna date Alex Campbell then you need to be spoiled. No you don't have to wear any of it unless we go on a date or she's around" He tells me

I stood there in shock and then kissed him hard. He froze and I stilled my whole body and pulled back in shock.

"I'm so sorry. i shouldn't have" I tell him stepping back each time I said a word

I walked off to his room shutting there door and locking it. I slid down the door til my ass hit the floor and let the tears flow.

"Belle." He says knocking

I sniffled and ignored him.

"Belle baby come on open the door. i'm not mad I swear. It just shocked me. Please" He says softly

When he called me back I unlocked the door and slid around to the wall behind the door so he could come in. When he stepped in he looked around and then down and sighed. He come over sitting by me and pulled me in his lap.

"Hey come on no more tears. I'm not mad. It just shocked me. I get that it was a thank you. Come on now smile for me" He whispers in my ear

I ignored him not looking at him. His hand slid up my waist and grabbed my ribs and started tickling me and I burst into a fit a giggles. He rolled me over tickling me like crazy and when he stopped I was panting.

"There all giggles and smiles. No more crying." He tells me

"Alright" I say sighing

6 MONTH TIME SKIP

We were in the mansion now and I was inviting everyone over for dinner. I planned on busting Shelby out tonight. I called the cops and let them know what was going on and they were waiting on stand by. I was in a very expensive dress Alex bought me and my diamond engagement ring shown brightly on my finger. I was standing by the huge glass wall of windows looking out at the sea and twirling my ring around my finger. After tonight I knew everything between us would end. I was going to miss this place. I had fallen in love with it and Alex.

"I hear your wheels turning over there Belle. What's on your mind?" alex says walking up to me

"I'm going to miss the view" I tell him titling my head looking out again

He hums but kisses the top of my head just as the doorbell rings. He walks over and opens it and my dad, Shelby and her husband walk in. We all have a drink while I show everyone around and then we take our seats for dinner. Half through dinner i cleared my throat.

"We have a few announcements to make" I say

"What's going on?" Dad asks

"Well first we moved in together months ago. Alex let me redo the house to add a touch of me. Secondly about two weeks ago he swept me away to Spain and asked me to marry him" I say

Shelby's face goes red and dad grins. He stands and comes over and hugs me and shakes Alex's hand. He looked at my ring and smiled and kissed my hand.

"Is that it?" He asks

"No daddy it's not. Shelby do you want to tell them?" I ask looking at her

"Tell them what?" She says

"Daddy I met alex cause Shelby owes him a million dollars and offered me as her payment. Hunter she didn't miscarry she had a abortion. She has been cheating on you with several men. She has been stealing from her partner cause she is broke. She has been nothing but a lying cheating, thieving whore." I snarl at her

Her eyes feel with tears as HUnter steps back away from her.

"Belle you sure?" Hunter asks

"Hunter you know what I do. I'm not lying to you. Her file is on the counter with pictures" I tell him

Shelby jumps up and heads for the door and I smirk.

"Go ahead Shelby open the door for the police. They have been listening to everything and have all the proof they need" I call after her

The maid opens the door and the cops come in arresting her and taking her away. I sigh and my whole body sags and Alex keep a firm arm around my waist holding me up and I sigh again.

"there is something I need to tell you daddy" I say looking at him

"What is it sweetheart?" He asks

"before you do that can I speak to you in private?" Alex asks

I nod and he leads me into the kitchen. This isn't private and I frown. He walks away and comes back with a huge bundle of roses and places them in front of me. He nods to the card and I pick it up and open it and what it says shocks me to my core. When my head snaps to him he was holding up a beautiful ring. It was a blue diamond and had a tiny yellow diamond heart on the bottom of it. It was hard to describe but a tear spilled down my face. He remembered my favorite movie and managed to turn my engagement ring into a beautiful art work. I nod and he grins and slips it on my finger with the other ring. He scooped me up kissing me hard and I heard clapping. I pulled back and see my dad and brother in law smiling.

"Alex told us before hand." Dad tells me

I walk over and hug him tight. He kisses the top of my head and I sigh.

"I'm glad you were here" i tell him

"me too baby" He tells me

"Well little Belle it is your turn. So still on this beauty and the beast wedding" Hunter asks chuckling

I look at Alex sheepishly and he chuckles.

"I don't care if I have to wear a hot pink suit as long as it's you coming down the isle I don't care" He tells me

"Even if my dress is yellow?" I ask

"Gold" My dad and Hunter says

"Gold?" I say thinking about it

I hear chuckles and when I look at them they were grinning.

"I like it a lot actually" I tell them honestly

"Royal blue and Gold" Alex says

"Your really going to let me have my beauty and the beast wedding?" I ask

"down to every last little detail" He says wrapping his arms around me

"And the castle?" I ask raising a brow challenging him

"I own one in another country" He says shrugging

My jaw drops and he chuckles and kisses me hard.

"I love you" i tell him

"I love you too" He says looking into my eyes

And there you have it that is my story. I found a man when I wasn't looking and no it doesn't always end in happiness but sometimes it does and that is the best kind of true love.
