My life

My life has never been easy. I had a horrible childhood and I had the scars to prove it. I had gotten a job at a big company and my bosses where brothers. Yes they were hot but they didn't treat me any better than my family or my boyfriend. I can't tell you how many times I come to work with so much make up on just to hide the bruises. I was secretly saving money to get my own place and hopefully I could get it soon. I had started taking self defense classes which helped with my confidence as well. I was currently on my way to work and I was running late. I sighed knowing they were going to yell at me for being late. I was already having a bad day and it was about to get worse. I walked into the building and hurried to my desk and logged in to find out my log in had been denied and I knew why. 

"Alexis come in here" Mr. King says

I sigh and get up and walk in his office and his brother closes the door. I stay standing and look at them. 

"You were late" Greyson says 

"I'm sorry. I missed the bus so I had to walk" I say

"That isn't a excuse. Since you were late you have been terminated" Blake tells me

"Alright" I say

"Is that all your gonna say?" Greyson snaps

"I can find another job. I don't have time for this s**t" I snap back at them

Their eyes widen and I turn and go to pull the door open when the door slams open and smacks me in the face and I cry out as I hit the floor. I can hear voices curse and then hands are touching me. 

"I'm fine" I say swatting away their hands

I get up and my head swims and I sway. I get my balance and go to my old office. 

"Alexis." Brenda calls 

"I'm leaving they fired me for being two minutes late" I grumble and grab my head

I sway again and hit the floor and Brenda yells out. 

GREYSON'S pov

My heart stopped when she hit the floor. She swatted us away and walked out. I sighed and looked at Amber who hit her with the door. 

"YOur fired" I snap

She gasps and glares at me. 

"Get out now." Blake yells 

She jumps and runs out and we hear Brenda yell. We run out and Alexis was on the floor out cold. I sigh and lift her up and we rush her to the hospital. We tell the doctor i'm her husband to check on her and what we learn isn't pleasing. 

"You may go in and see her" He tells us

We walk in and she was sitting up in the bed looking out the window. 

"Alexis" I say

"You can leave" She says not looking at me

I go to say something else and the doctor walks in. 

"Mrs. King you may leave now" He says

"What?" She shouts

"Um your Mrs. King right?" The doctor asks

"f**k no he isn't my husband. He's my ex boss and you told him my personal private information. I will sue you both" She screams

I flinch and look at her with wide eyes and so does the doctor. 

"Hey what's with the yelling?" A woman asks walking in

"Cassidy? What are you doing here?" Alexis asks

"Brenda called me silly girl. Now what's going on?" The woman asks

"This asshole lied to the doctor about me being his wife just to learn my private information when it's none of his f*****g business. Find me a lawyer." She tells the Cassidy lady

"You did what? What is wrong with you? You already treat her like s**t at work and she has enough going on in her life to be dealing with more assholes in her every day life. Get out now" The woman shouts at us

Alexis' POV

I smirk and watch them leave as Cassidy shouts at them. She turns back to me and helps me get dressed so we can go home. Then i realize I don't have a home. 

"Your staying with me. I went and packed your things before coming here" She tells me

I nod and we head to her house. Over the next few days I stay in bed healing and then I start looking for another job. I was currently laying in bed when my phone rings. 

'Hello" I say

"Alexis it's Greyson. Could you come to Italian place we like tonight at 7? Blake and I wish to speak to you about something important" He asks

"Fine" I say

"A car will pick you up at 6. Um it's rather formal" He says

"I know" I say

"See you then" He says and hangs up

I sigh and look and see it's four so I start getting ready. I was going to know them on their asses. 

I quickly got ready and as soon as I stepped into my heels the doorbell sounded. I sighed and headed to the door and Mason was standing there. 

"Ms. Winters. This way please" He says

I nod and close the door and lock it. I walk to the car and he opens my door and lets me in. I sigh and he gets in and drives the thirty minutes to the restaurant. When i arrive I the hostess greets me. 

"She is here for the Kings" Mason says behind me

The girls eyes widen and she nods and leads me to their private table. They stand when they see me but their eyes widen seeing my outfit and I smirk. 

"Boys" I say nodding

Blake pulls out my chair and I take a seat. They sit down and the hostess goes to take my order. 

"Apple martini please" I say with a smile

"Yes ma'am. Anything else?" She asks softly

"NO right now. Thank you" I say

She offers a small smile and wanders off. We sit in silence and the little girl comes back with my drink and her face is beet red. She sits my drink down and her hands were shaking. I reach out and grab her hand and she gasps. 

'You alright?" I ask her

"FIne. THank you. Can I get your orders please?" She asks 

"What do you suggest?" I ask

"The chicken alfredo" She says with a smile

"I'll take that and add a extra one so you can take one home with you when your shift is over" I tell her

"Oh you don't have to do that" She says

"nonsense. Add it" I tell her

"Yes ma'am. Thank you" She says

The guys order and she walks away grinning. I look a the boys and they were looking at me strangely. 

"What's up?" I ask

"I know what I did was wrong. We talked to your lawyer and ours. We would like to keep this quiet and out of court. we are going to offer you three million to drop this. It's more than you would get in court and our lawyers agree." Greyson says

I go to speak and our food is placed in front of us. I dig in and sigh. I finish off my drink and clear my plate and our waitress comes back.

"Dessert?" She asks

"Surprise me" I tell her

"I know jus the thing" She says and runs off

About five minutes later she comes back and places down Lava cake. I giggle and look at her. 

'Thank you. This is my all time favorite. I get it when I come here" I tell her

"It's amazing" she says and walks off

I dig in and sigh when I finish. 

"give me the papers" I say

Blake hands them to me and I read them and sign them and take my copy and hand them theirs. I stand up and look at them. 

"They sad part is Greyson your just could have apologized and saved three million but now thanks to you I can disappear" I say and turn to walk out

When i get outside I hear my name. I tense knowing it's Dean. I turn to look at him and I grow a backbone. 

"Stay the f**k away from me Dean. I will call the cops" I snap at him

He freezes in his steps and then comes at me and then I feel a hard body press into my back. 

"Mr King. I'm sorry to disturb you but i'm just here for my girlfriend" Dean says

"Ex girlfriend or did you forget about how you abused me and I left your sorry ass" I snap

His eyes widen and Blake growls and Dean's eyes widen further and he steps back.

'If you come near her you will deal with the cops and us" He growls lowly

Dean scrambles back and runs off. I sway a bit and my legs give out. HUge arms wrap around me and I lean into them. 

"Alexis come on" Greyson says

I was picked up and placed in a car and I was in and out of it. It wasn't to long before I was lifted again and was being carried. I was soon placed on a bed and a light was being shined in my eyes. 

"Alexis. I'm Dr NIx. Can you tell me how does your head feel?" She asks

"A bit fuzzy. It's not to bad." I say sitting up

"Does anything hurt?" She asks

"No I think i'm ok" I tell her

"If you start feeling faint lay right down and rest. But I think the excitement got the best of you" She tells me with a smile

I nod and she pats my leg and gets up nodding at the boys and leaves. I slide off the bed and stand up and stretch. I roll my shoulders and sigh and groan. 

"What's wrong?" Greyson asks

"This dress. GOd I hate this dress. I don't even know why I bought it. I need to get home so I can cut myself out of this thing" I say pulling at it

"Little to much to drink there sweetheart" Blake says chuckling

"I had two no three" I grumble still pulling at my dress

Greyson walks over and pulls out a t shirt and some sweats and lays them on the bed. 

"Turn around" He tells me

I eye him but sigh and do as i'm told. I feel him step up behind me and grab the zipper on my dress. He pulls it down and then yanks it and it rips all the way down the back. I gasp and then sigh. He and blake turn their backs to me and I slip on the clothes that were on the bed. 

"Alright" I say

They turn around and they both chuckle. 

"Holy s**t your so tiny. My clothes are eating you." Greyson chuckles in amusement

"Your huge. BUt thank you." I say 

"Anytime. Now we wanted to say we are sorry for being total d***s at the office. We tend to forget people have lives and their lives are different from ours." Blake says

"Apology accepted. Can I crash here? I drank to much and i'm to tired to try to go home" I ask

"Of course. Let's get you some water and painkillers" Greyson says

He walks out and Blake stands there watching me. 

"What?" I ask tilting my head looking at him

"Your just different than we thought you would be. Not in a bad way though." He tells me

Greyson walks back in and hands me some painkillers and some water and I pop the pills in my mouth and swallow them down with the water. I sigh and finish the water. 

"So where am I sleeping?" I ask

"This way" Blake says

I follow both of them and they lead me to a room which i'm assuming is a guest room. They let me in first and I smile at the purple and black theme. 

"It's our sister. She done it like this when she visited last. But I can tell by that smile you like it" Greyson says

"It's my two favorite colors" I say 

"Nice to know" Greyson says walking around me

He pulls the covers back and looks at me. 

"Alright you in bed" Blake says behind me

I sigh and walk over and slide in and Greyson lowers the covers over me and I sigh. 

"Goodnight sweetheart" Blake says

"Night love" Greyson says

"Night guys" I mumble almost asleep already

I dosed off into a dreamless sleep and slept so good. When I woke up the next morning I didn't hear the boys awake so I got up and went downstairs and just started cooking. I found my phone on the counter so I turned on my music and Doug Stone started playing. I smiled cause my Aunt loved him. I was cooking up a storm and singing along with no cares in the world. When I spin around I jump out of my skin. Greyson and Blake where sitting at the bar watching me. 

"Holy s**t guys. A little warning next time. I about died." I say holding my hand over my heart

"ANd just what are you doing?" Blake asks

"Cooking breakfast" I say in a duh tone

"I see that but why half naked?" He asks looking down

I look down and notice my sweats were gone. 

"s**t. I must have kicked them off in my sleep. Sorry" I say 

I turn back to cooking and Greyson chuckles. 

"It's not funny Greyson" I say

"You know our laughs apart?" Blake asks stunned

"I do. Yours is more deep cause your more dominant than Greyson is. Greyson is the lighter funnier one" I say

"How do you know that?" Blake asks

'I pay attention to the people around me every day" I say looking over my shoulder at him 

He flinches and I sigh. 

'I didn't mean it like that." I say

"It's fine we deserve worse" Greyson says

I fix their plates and sit them in front of them and places different juices on the bar and then i fix my plate and go around and sit between them. We dig in and the boys groan. I giggle and they look at me.

"That was amazing. thank you love" Greyson says

"No problem now I need to get going so I can go change and go look for a job oh wait I don't have to work you owe me three mill" I say smiling

"Go on a date with us" Blake spits out

I whirl around and look at him in shock.

"What?" I say in shock

"Date us. Both of us. We like sharing the same woman and we like you" Greyson says

"I can't" I tell them

"Why not?" Greyson asks

"I just can't " I say softly offering a sad smile

"Talk to us babe" Blake says

"I'm still technically legally married" I whisper

"Your what?" Greyson shouts

"I got married to my high school sweetheart. Total cliche I know but I loved him and we were happy till he wasn't. I left, changed my name and the bastard still wont divorce me" I say angrily

"Did he ever hit you?" Greyson ask

I nod and sniffle and turn my back to them. I hear them both stand and the next thing I know I was wrapped in them and sobbing.

"Calm down baby. It's ok. We will fix this" Blake tells me

"What's his name?" Greyson ask

"Lance wilson" I whisper

I feel them both tense and sigh. I can feel them both start chuckling and I look up to see them smirking.

"Is there anything you want from the divorce?" Greysin asks

"Hin to admit he cheated so i get my money that's in our contract and i want Diva, Demon, and Lucifer." i tell them

They raise they brow at me and I grin.  They nod and draw up the papers and then make me get dressed. We drive to his company and we walk in. We push part his secretary and i walk into his office with my head held high.

"Rach" he says

"Its Alexis asshole." I say tossing the papers on his desk

He looks at them and chuckles.

"No" he says

"That's fine Mr. Wilson. But Alexis will be going to the press about the cops. She will tell them how you cheated on her repeatedly, how you hit her and she had to go to the hospital and we will take you to court and she will get what she wants and we dont give to f***s if you go down. We are the best f*****g lawyers in the country and she will win." Greyson says leaning over Lance's desk

Lance gulps and looks at me. He picks up the papers and reads them over and something crosses his face.

"You want all three?" He asks in shock

"Yes. I took care of them. I did it all. I even want the china." Alexis snaps

Lance sighs and nods and signs the papers.

"Do you still have your key?" He asks her

She nods and he smiles slightly.

"I'll call nan and let her know your coming to get them." He tells her

He hands the paper to Blake and Alexis stands and turns her back to him.

"Le" he calls

She tenses and turns around to look at him.

"Yeah?" She says

"Happy looks good on you" he says

"Thanks" she says

She turns again and sighs and spins back around and walks over to him. She leans down and whispers something in his ear and he tenses. She pulls back and looks at him and he nods. She leans down and kisses the top of his head and turns and walks out the door with her head held high.

"What did you say to him?" I ask her

"Something personal. Something we use to say to one another all the time when we were down. I felt it needed to be said one last time. It needed to end there." She says looking out the window

We drive for a bit and we arrive at a beautiful house and Alexis walks up to the door and unlocks it and walks in. She gasps and spins around looking at the house.

"Yes my love it's all the same" a woman says

"Nan" Alexis cries out and rushes to the older woman

She wraps Alexis in her arms and hugs her tight.

"My sweet girl. I have missed you so much. Tell me your happy and healthy" Nan says

"I've never been better" alexis says and turns to smile at us

"Good for you baby" nan says

"Where are they?" She asks

"Take a seat and I'll get them" nana says

Alexis walks over to the mantle and picks up a picture and smiles. It was her in a cheerleading outfit.

"Cute" I say

"It was cliche but I loved every minute of it." She says

We hear barking and Alexis grins and spins around. Three huge dogs run in and she drops to her knees in front of them.

"My babies" she cries out

They were licking her all over and she was giggling. She finally stood up and the dogs kept bouncing around.

"Sit" Alexis commands and they all hurt and sit

"Good job babies" she says and clips on their leashes

"What will I do with all you leaving me?" Nan asks sniffling

"Come be our maid" grayson says 

I whirl and look at him in shock.
