LYLA'S POV

I had been working with the boys for a while now and also helping my sister plan her wedding. Prank wars was going strong with the boys and I was loving it. They had yet to get me back so I knew it was coming I just didn't know when. I was currently walking down the hall when ice cold bright blue water was dumped on me. I could hear all the boys laughing and I froze.

"Please f*****g tell me this isn't going to stain?" I shout

They all continued to laugh and i screamed so loud they shut up.

"Yeah it will" Jonny says

"You bunch of f*****g idiots my sister's wedding is tomorrow and I'm the maid of honor what the f**k and I gonna do? And Patrick you could have warned them you knew I had been going crazy of this wedding. My sister is going to kill me" I cry out

All the boys froze and looked at me in shock. Tears slipped down my face and Patrick stepped forward.

"Don't f*****g touch me" I growl harshly at him

"Lyla babe come on I'll take you to the salon and see what we can do about your hair" Abby calls 

"Forget it they will never fix it in time. I have to be on that plane tonight" I cry

"Lyla babe breathe. I know someone. I'll call in a favor and you will make it" Abby says holding my cheeks

Tears still continued to pour down my face and all the guys looked worried.

"Ly we are sorry. We didn't know" Sharpie says

"Kane I want 75 laps from you." Coach yells

"Why only me?" He cries

"Cause you could have warned them not to put dye in it at least. Poor Lyla is freezing and as blue as a damn Smurf. If her sister don't kick you in the balls Abby is going to and we are going to let her. Lyla is balling her eyes out and you think it's funny" coach roars

He takes off grumbling and all the boys look at me. They all run in the locker room and come out and they drag me with Abby to the salon. They give me clothes to change into and I sit in a chair still crying.

"Haily I don't care what it costs fix it. We are paying" sharpie says

"Alright pretty girl dry those pretty eyes and I'll have you fixed and back to normal in to time. Abby take this cream and a warm cloth and start pulling all the blue off our Smurf here" Haily says

I sniffle and they get to work. Five hours later she was finished and I was normal again.

"Lyla we really are sorry. We really didn't know." Sharpie says

"You all are coming with me to this wedding and I don't care what the hell it is if your asked to do something your going to do it. And give Haily a huge time for f*****g fixing me in time. I'm not against prank wars but you could have really f****d me for this wedding" I snarl at them

"yes ma'am" They say paying and following me to the car

Over the next few days the wedding happened and the guys were great and now they were away on a hockey trip but I was sick and staying with my best friend so I didn't get to go on the trip this time. I was finally feeling better so i packed my bag and headed back to mine and Patrick's apartment. I entered and heard a noise so i followed it and when i pushed the door open my bag hit the floor with a thud. He was screwing some other b***h in our bed.

"What the f**k?" I scream

His head snaps up and looks shocked to see me. I scoop up my bag and head for the door.

"Lyla" Kane shouts

"Stay the f**k away from me" I scream

He stops in his tracks and I run out and down the hall and take the elevator to the top floor. I get to the penthouse and knock. Towes opens his door in nothing but a towel and I look up at him.

"Lyla babe what happened?" He asks panting

He must have ran to the door.

"Kane in bed with another girl" I say sobbing it out

He pulls me into his chest and I sob. He scoops me up and carries me in and sits me on the couch. He walks away and comes back in sweats and on the phone. A few minutes later he hangs up and sits down pulling me into his lap hugging me tightly. A few minutes later the guys all bust in the door with all kinds of things.

"Oh babe" Sharpie says sitting down by us

"What am I gonna do?" I say softly sniffling

"Well your gonna stay here" Towes tells me

"I can't do that." I whisper

"Yes you can and you will" He growls at me

"Thank you" I say tucking my head under his chin

"No thanks needed love." He says kissing the top of my head

"I have to get my things from his place" I mumble

"Tomorrow we have practice so go pack it all and after practice we will all come move it up here" Shaw says

"Ok" I whisper

I sniffle and Sharpie opens a bag and pulls out a fuzzy blanket and lays it over me.

"I heard chicks like these fuzzy things when they are sad" He says wincing

"We do and thank you. It's my favorite color" I mumble

"I remember you saying you loved purple" He tells me shurgging

"How can you remember that but Kane can't remember it?" I ask looking down

"Cause he us a jackass" Shaw says

"Well I have to get back to the wife and kid but i'll see you tomorrow." Sharpie says standing up

I nod and he kisses my forehead and Shaw leaves with him. Jon stood up with me in his arms and carried me to his bed and laid me down. He went to walk away and I grabbed his hand.

"Will you stay?" i whisper

He nods and lays down by me and just holds my hand. Before I knew it I was asleep and it was the next morning.

"Ly" I hear

"Yeah?" I mumble

"I'm leaving for practice so go pack your things and i'll see you in two hours. I left money on the counter for you to do grocery shopping if you feel up to it if not we can do it later and order out tonight" He tells me

I nod and look up at him with teary eyes. He sighs and kisses my forehead and heads out. I lay there a bit longer and then I get up and get moving. I get to the apartment and I grab boxes and pack all my things. Before I knew it the front door was opening and I was quickly throwing my things in boxes now.

"Lyla" i hear him whisper

I continue what I'm doing and there is a knock on the door. I walk out and open it and the guys step in.

"There are all here except the two in the bedroom" I say

They nod and start taking it out and I go back to finish the last two boxes. Kane was sitting on the end of the bed and sighed when he seen me walk in but Towes walked in behind me and he scowled. I finished packing my shoes and closed the boxes. Towes picked them up and carried them out and I sighed. I took off the necklace Kane bought me and laid it on the dresser along with all his jerseys and I walked out. I left the key and headed to the pent house. When I got there Jon helped me unpack my things and put them away and then he cooked me dinner telling me to relax.

"Coach knows what happened. I talked to him privately today. He said one of us will be with you at all times. He doesn't want you alone right now. I understand if you don't wanna go out right now but Sharpie wants to know if your still coming to the party?" He says

"Yeah I am. I refuse to let him make me feel bad. Yes I love him and I gave him my all but I didn't f**k up he did and I will make him regret it" I say sipping my wine

"That's my girl" He says

He winces and looks at me with worry.

"Jon you know your my favorite. Why do you think I ran to you?" I ask

"I was closer" He says sighing

"NO. I came to you cause I knew you can hold your attitude better and if you haven't noticed I always come to you. None of the other boys know me more than you do" I tell him

"Really?" He asks shocked

"Where is my tattoo?" I ask him

"on the left side on your rib cage under your breast" He answers

"When did I lose my virginity?" I ask

"when you were 19" He says

"None of the other guys know any of that. I tell you everything." I say

"Wow" He says shocked

"Now let's get ready for this party. Now I need a date. What do ya say Towes wanna give a girl a break and be my date?" I ask leaning over the table

"If you insist" He says rolling his eyes

"Alright i'm gonna go get ready" I tell him

I walk out swaying my hips a little more than normal and I hear him growl. I smirk and shower and curl my hair and do my make up. I quickly slip into a tight black dress and add my hooker heels and then I grab my phone and walk down to find Jon waiting on me. When I enter the room he stops in his tracks. I spin a little and he grins and offers me his hand and we walk out to his car. When we get to Sharpie's we go in and everyone gets quiet.

"Well well well look at that beautiful girl" Sharpie says hugging me spinning me around

He sits me down and kisses my forehead and I smile.

"Auntie Lyla" Suzy calls

"Suzy bear" I smile scooping her up

"I missed you" She says

"I missed you too pretty girl. BUt I know it's your bedtime so go find momma and go to bed and saturday we will have a girls day ok" I tell her

"Otay. Love you" She says kissing my cheek

"I love you too cupcake" I say putting her down

"thank you" Sharpie says

"No problem. I'll even take her all day and night so you guys can have some adult time. That ok Jon?" I ask

"Of course. We can have a auntie, uncle and Suzy day" He says wrapping his arm around me

"Your sure?" Sharpie asks

"Yes of course. And when I have kids i'll pin them off on you" I tell him smiling

"Deal" He says

"How about a dance?" Jon asks

I nod and take his hand and we head over to the dance floor and he spins me and pulls me into him and we move together. The song ended and Shaw walked up.

"Share her" He snaps at Jon smirking

Jon handed me over and Shaw spun me and we swayed and all the guys took their turn dancing with me. Kaner walked up to me and all of a sudden arms snaked around my waist and I leaned back into the solid chest smirking.

"Can we talk?" He asks

"No i'm on a date." I tell him

I'll Be Missing You starts playing and I smile and start swaying and Jon moves with me. I spin and we dance around.

"Hey Ly" I hear

I spin around and Sharpie is looking at me.

"What?" I ask

"Jess wants to know if you need to barrow that lace up thing?" He shouts

Everyone was quiet and he winks at me.

"Tell her i'll be up in five to raid the drawers" I call back

"Will do" He calls back

Jon chuckles in my ear and I wink at him and walk upstairs and Jess had a lot laying out.

"Pick one and put it on. Girl I want details" She tells me

"Deal" I say slipping on a black little piece

I put my clothes back on and head back down. Some girl was hitting on Jon so I walked and pushed myself in his arms. I snuggled into his chest and yawned.

"Sleepy babe?" He asks wrapping his arms around me

"Very." I mumble into his huge chest

"Well let's get you home and out of those clothes" He says

Well it just so happened that the music stopped and everyone heard him and looked at us shocked.

"I live with him you pervs. We all know I wear clothes when I sleep" I call

"Except for that one time" The guys call out

"You busted into my apartment you freaks" I screech

"So"They says

"Your just all mad that my ass looks better thans yalls do" I huff out

They all laugh and we say goodnight and head home. When we get there I walk to the bedroom and take off my heels and dress and I sigh.

"Jon" I shout

He walks in and finds me sitting on the end of the bed in some lingerie. He stopped dead in his tracks and I crooked my finger at him and he walked towards me. I stood up and ran my hands down his chest and pushed them under his shirt and groaned at the feeling of his abs. I removed his shirt and he caught my hands.

"Don't" He growls

"Don't what? Don't let you have your way with me? Don't start this cause I just ended my relationship? What?" I ask

"Don't Lyla" He snaps

He grabs his shirt and walks out closing the door. I sniffle and change and lock the door and I crawl in bed. I set my alarm for four and I went to sleep. the next morning I got dressed and headed out before he got up. I made it to the rink and coach stopped me. He looked at me and hugged me tight.

"I'm gonna get a skate in before the guys" I mumble

"Music?" He asks

"Yeah" I mumble

I put my skates on and the music starts and I get busy. By time I was done I was panting and sweaty so I headed to the locked room and showered. I had just got done slipping on my ripped skinny jeans when the guys walked in.

"Morning boys" I say slipping on my shirt

I straighten my hair and do my make up while they just look at me.

"What are you dressed up for?" Sharpie asks

"I have a date" I say loud enough for everyone to hear

"With who?" Jon asks angrily

"Tyler" I say smirking to myself

"Hey Ly. I got your apartment ready" Coach calls

"Your moving out?" Towes asks

"Of course. I need my own place for my business" I say grabbing my bag and walking to the door

My heels were clicking against the floor and I smiled.

"Why?" Towes asks

"Because FRIEND if i wanna get laid i can't bring them to your place can I? And when you need to bring a puck bunny back i don't wanna be there" i tell him

"But" He says

"Sharpie can I barrow your baby?" I ask

He threw his keys at me and I smile and walk out. I hear someone come after me and I was spun around and pushed into the wall.

"What was that?" Jon asks

"That was me stating the truth. Now let go I have a date to get to" I say

"When did you become such a slut?" He snarls

i gasp and tears floor my eyes and I rare back and sock in the jaw. He hits the floor and I stomp out wiping my face. I get in Sharpie's truck and I drive back to the pent house and I start packing my stuff again. I hear the front door open and close and then arms wrap around me. I cry til i feel myself getting sleepy.

Sharpie's POV

She cried herself to sleep so I laid her down and sat in the living room. Jon walks in and I stand and punch him one good time.

"What the f**k?" He snarls

"That's for making her cry herself to sleep. What the f****d happened between last night and today?" I snap

"She was half naked and came onto me and I couldn't do it. She wasn't thinking straight she just broke up with Kaner man" He tells me

"So f*****g what. She is a big girl. He f****d it up. Yall have always had that attraction there don't f**k it up" I tell him

"I know man. She scares the s**t out of me ok" He says sighing

"Why?" I ask

"Cause I seen how she is. She is beautiful, smart, she doesn't put up with our s**t, she can hang with the guys but still be her. I know she deserves better than Kaner or I. I should let her pack and leave but I don't want to. I f****d up earlier and I'll say i'm sorry as many times as it takes for her to forgive me. I hate when she's mad or upset with me" He says hanging his head and sighing

He plops down on his couch and runs his fingers through his head and places his head in his hands. I look up to see Lyla standing there with tears in her eyes. I nod at her and nod at him and she nods at me. I wink and she gives me a sad smile and I leave. I sigh closing the door hoping they will get together.

Towes' POV

I sighed rubbing my temples. I felt someone sit down by me and I look over to see Lyla looking at her hands. I gulp and sigh and look back at her face. I could tell she had been crying and I flinch. I reach over grabbing her fiddling fingers and she freezes. I pull her over in my lap and she sniffles.

"Babe i'm so sorry. I let me temper get the best of me today. I hope you can forgive me at some point and I understand if you need time but please don't leave." I whisper in her ear

She wipes her face and stands up and goes in her room and comes back out dressed and on the phone. She talks for a few minutes and hangs up and looks at me.

"Let's go" She says

I follow her not complaining and we pull up to the rink and I follow her in. All the guys were lined up on the ice apart from Kaner and Lyla stands by the coach and I gulp.

"Alright Towes get your gear on" Coach says glaring at me

I nod and go do as told and I come back onto the ice.

"Lyla" coach says stepping back

"You are gonna take a hit from each one of your teammates and your not gonna do s**t about it. Cause they all heard you today and wanted to punch you in the face but I said no. This is the next best thing from my brothers. Once they are done you still have to deal with my punishment" I tell him sternly

I gulp and nod and she looks at the guys.

"One hit boys and don't break anything" She says sternly

They all nod and glare at me and the the pain starts. Sharpie went last and holy s**t did it f*****g hurt. Coach helped me up and then I heard Jess. I spun around just as her hand connected with my face. I groaned and hit the ice hard and I could hear her still coming. I opened my eyes to see Shaw yank her up off the ice and hand her to Sharpie.

"You son of a b***h. I will stick my tiny foot up your ass." She screams

"Jess calm down" Sharpie snaps at her

"I will kill him myself" She screeches

"Jessica Lynn calm the hell down or I will turn your ass red right here" Sharpie shouts

She goes limp but still glares at me. I could hear Lyla laughing loudly and we all look at her. She looked at us and started laughing again.

"Feel better?" She asks Jess

"Yes I do" She huffs

"Good" Lyla says

"You mister are grounded from my house til I say otherwise. And you dear husband if you let him in til I say so you can go stay with him and Lyla can stay with me and Suzy" She says and walks off the ice with a attitude strut

I giggle and Sharpie looks at me and then Lyla.

"Sorry bro but that's wife's castle" He says and goes after her

"Boys please go change and come back" Lyla says

We all nod and come back to find her sitting on the ice playing in the shaved up ice from our skates. She had made a mini snowman and smiled softly.

"Hello Mr. Snowman. Seems like i've had a bad week. Let's see what else goes wrong" She whispers

We step out and she jumps up and looks at us.

"Hug it out" She says

We do as told and they all hug her and head out.

"You ok pretty girl?" Coach asks

"Yeah i'm good. Thank you" She says

"Anytime." He says and whacks the back of my head as he passes

I hang my head and then a tiny hand lands on the side of my face. I look up at her and she was looking over where she and Jess hit me. I grab her hand and kiss her palm and she gives me a tiny smile.

"I'm sorry" I tell her

"I know. I forgave you when I heard you talking to sharpie" She tells me

I look at her shocked and nod. I kiss her forehead and wrap her in my arms and I sigh. I can feel her smile and I kiss the top of her head.
