I felt embarrassed, walking around the castle after yesterday's heat incident. The healer said since I’ve been marked, my heat will continue to come until I’m with child.. which is apparently something the Elders want done as soon as possible; to make certain our line will carry on in the future. It will happen out of nowhere and last anywhere from one to three days; luckily for me, my first heat only lasted a few hours yesterday.
But I won’t be so lucky every time.
Since we’re true mates; and royalty, our children will be quite strong princes or princesses.
“Your eyes are unusual.” The healer, whom I’ve learned is named Rosanne, spoke as she flashed a light back and forth between my eyes.
