Chapter Thirty-Two Max I decided to embrace the concept of flying blind. I didn’t know what the hell was the best approach with Harlow, but I was done waiting. Owen had agreed to stay a few extra days in Anchorage, and I was driving to Willow Brook. The sky was bright blue, and the roads were blessedly clear. I’d have driven through a snowstorm to get to her, but I didn’t mind the weather being on my side. Not much later, I rolled into Willow Brook. I didn’t even stop in town, I headed straight for her house. When I got there to find her truck gone, I turned right back around. When I reached the station, I was relieved to see her truck out back.
