That same evening, our family gathered for a wonderful dinner. Since we had a new addition to the family, namely Annie, my parents arranged a whole feast every evening for the new relative. Surprisingly, they were delighted with her. My father even began to hint that he would be eagerly awaiting grandchildren and that it was not worth delaying.
The entire table was covered with a variety of delicacies. From langoustines in sweet and sour sauce to several types of different desserts. Everything looked so appetizing that I could deny myself something. The aroma from the treats was incredible, I was hungry to the point of madness and I ate. It felt like my stomach was about to jump out of joy.
