Over these last couple of days I had been going back and forth about wanting to know the gender. I was seeing all of these expecting mothers buying clothes for their babies, while I just picked up some more diapers or bottles.
I bumped into a mother who looked miserable. She was having her third baby and 2 two days overdue. We chatted about our pregnancy experience. It was nice to find out that I wasn’t alone in not wanting to know the gender yet.
She told me that finding out the gender for her first was surreal for her and that this one she wanted it to be a surprise. I took her out for lunch and we talked a bit more. We exchanged numbers and I wished her good luck as we parted.
I gave Mason a call and decided to tell him about my decision. He answered quickly.
