I woke up early so I could walk to the cafe. I put on a white fitted shirt that showed my little bump, grabbed one of my many leggings since jeans were no longer an option. I pulled on my favorite sweater Mason had and put my jacket over it. It would get hotter out today but the mornings were always colder. I slid on my gray vans and headed downstairs, careful not to wake up Mason.
I walked downstairs and made a cup of peppermint tea. It helped keep my nausea at bay while also keeping me warm on my walk. I was getting ready to write a note when I heard some coming down.
“Hey Spence”
He jumped, turning around quickly.
“What are you doing up so early?”
“I have to go to work. What are you doing?”
“I was uhh… going for a run”
“Which way do you run?”
“I go towards down town”
