After twenty minutes of trying to find something to watch I decided I might as well get some sleep. Turning off the T.V I stretched and got off the couch only to hear my phone beeping from JJ’s room. Looking at the caller ID and seeing Mason’s name flash across it I answered it quickly, almost dropping it.
“Hello?”
“Hey princess, come downstairs and let me in”
“Are you at the cafe?”
“Yes. Now hurry up before the old man wakes up”
I walked carefully down the stairs, making sure to avoid the extra squeaky boards. I could see the silhouette of a person at the door.
“Mason?” I asked before unlocking the door just in case it wasn’t him.
“It’s me princess”
I unlocked the door. Holding the bells so they wouldn’t chime as the door opened and closed.
