I ended up telling Tomas all the news I received this afternoon. I also told him that "she" was coming to the city, that my sister was going to meet her, and that she would contact me shortly after arriving in the city.
When Tomas found out that "she" was coming, he became very upset, especially when I mentioned that my sister and I were going to see her.
Tomas started to lose control a bit, which was unusual for him. He didn't get up from his seat or make a big scene; instead, he lost control in his usual way, becoming nervous and making offensive comments here and there, particularly being somewhat aggressive with me—more than usual.
