I glared at Clara, knowing she had done this on purpose, and her smile really annoyed me.
— Clara! You shouldn't have done that! —Tomas said to Clara while giving her an angry look.
—Come on, Tomas, can't I give my husband a kiss hello? Don't be so cold-hearted —Clara said to him, before sitting at the table.
The seat she had chosen was very close to Tomas's.
—It's always a pleasure to see you, Teresa, you look very different —Clara said to me while staring at me.
—Thanks —I replied curtly.
—It's obvious you've been taking advantage of my husband, that hairstyle, your hair looks better than it did a month ago, and that dress looks very expensive. How much have you squeezed out of my husband during this time? 200,000? 300,000? It's clear you're squeezing him very hard.
