My boss and I had a brief conversation with Mr. Saint, who was one of the club's most frequent clients, and after promising him that we would find out what had happened to Teresa, I went to look for my friend.
Honestly, I couldn't figure out what was going on. I took Teresa to the place where she was supposed to meet Saint, showed her the corridor she needed to take, told her the room she had to enter, and even gave her the key to enter that room to meet Saint.
With all that in mind, what went wrong?
Teresa should have met with Saint. Nothing bad should have happened. I gave her clear instructions. What could have possibly gone wrong?
