Chapter 3: A New Journey

Luna stood before her father, her heart pounding with fear. But she knew she had to be brave.

"Father, please," she said, her voice shaking slightly. "Let us go. Let Liam and I be together."

Her father's face turned red with anger.

"You're asking me to go against our clan's laws," he said.

"You're asking me to betray our people."

Luna took a deep breath.

"I'm not asking you to betray our people, Father," she said.

"I'm asking you to understand. To understand that love knows no boundaries. That love is stronger than any law or tradition."she added.

Her father's expression softened slightly.

He looked at Luna, really looked at her, and saw the determination in her eyes.

"Very well," he said finally. "I'll let you go. But you have to promise me one thing."

"What's that, Father?" Luna asked.

"You have to promise me that you'll be careful," he said. "That you'll protect yourself and Liam from those who would seek to harm you."

Luna nodded eagerly. "I promise, Father," she said. "I'll be careful. I'll protect us."

Her father nodded, a small smile on his face. "I know you will, Luna," he said. "You're a strong and brave woman. I'm proud of you."

Luna felt happiness. She had done it. She had convinced her father to let her and Liam be together.

She turned to Liam, who was standing beside her, a look of hope on his face.

"We can go now," Luna said, smiling. "We can start our new life together."

Liam's face lit up with joy. "Really?" he asked.

Luna nodded. "Really," she said.

Liam pulled Luna into his arms, holding her tightly. "I'm so happy," he whispered. "I'm so happy we can be together."
