Sitting next to her, I place my head on her shoulder "I'm sorry I shoved you out of there" Gloria shook her head "you were protecting me, thank you" she wrapped her arm around my shoulder. We sat there for a little while until I heard someone clearing their throat "I'm sorry to interrupt you both" looking up to the voice it was Ollie and the older man. Standing up I held my hand out to Gloria, helping her to her feet I turned to the men and bowed "I'm sorry for what you have to bare witness to and I'm sorry you came all this way for nothing" Gloria placed her hands on my shoulders when the older man questioned "is it true?" Straightening my back, I asked "I'm sorry Alpha Miles which part?" He smiled at me until he stated "both".

Sighing as I looked to the floor as I stated "both are right I'm a wolf-less werewolf and when my parents found out at my turning ceremony the abuse started as they had held high hopes for me, I'm sorry to disappoint you". I turned round to leave them there as no one was talking I thought I was dismissed when Ollie grabbed my hand, hissing out in pain he released my hand "what happened to your hand?" Gloria gasped "Eliza you didn't say anything?" Shaking my head, I grabbed my arm as Gloria was the one to ask something "Eliza is it broken?" I froze to the spot not knowing what to say. Ollie grunted "you still listened to them even after what they have done to you?" I spun round on the spot "they are my parents; I have nowhere else to go".

Ollie looked over his shoulder to a very pale looking man, he didn't say much about this conversation. He looked at his son when he nodded, Ollie looked back at me "you do now, come with us?" I stepped back "why? I don't have a wolf I'm useless unless it’s for cooking or cleaning" Gloria growled out "If that's what you are taking her for you can leave" Ollie smirked at Gloria, I stood in front of her protectively "don't even think about it" Ollie held up his hands innocently "I haven't done anything, the invitation is for both of you, can't leave one here to suffer" looking over my shoulder to Gloria as she glared at him "why would you do that for us?" Ollie shrugged at Gloria's question "I'm guessing you've heard of my reputation?".

Gloria nodded while I shook my head his eyes shot open "why haven't you the daughter to the Alpha?" Walking down the hallway I explained the reason "well I'm the wolf-less she-wolf why would they let someone who can't even defend their borders have information about other packs" Ollie sighed "okay, then why hasn't Gloria told you?" I looked over my shoulder as I muttered "she did" his eyes opened wider "are you scared of me?" Tilting my head, I replied "no, why? Should I be?" He looked at the floor as he spat out "if you know what I have done then that is reason enough" I chuckled "I'm sorry but you haven't done anything to give me a reason to be scared of you, I make my own judgement on people, I don't go by what others think".

Both Ollie and his father looked at me stunned at my statement while I was stood there chuckling to myself, Gloria taped me on the shoulder then pointed in their direction. I gasped and bowed "oh no I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to be rude and laugh" they both shook their heads as Alpha Miles smiled gently "on the contrary it's nice to know there are still people who believe in knowing someone first hand and feel comfortable to laugh like that in front of us" I smiled back "you both haven't given me any reason not to feel comfortable and I want to thank you for helping me in there, thank you from the depths of my heart, I probably wouldn't be stood here now if it weren't for you three" I turned to look at Gloria as well as I saw tears appear in her eyes.

Turning round to face the two men I bowed "if the offer still stands I would love to accept your invitation to travel to your pack" Gloria bowed accepting the invitation as well. Both the men nodded as Alpha Miles said "if you both share my room I will stay with Ollie for the night", "that's too much but thank you for the offer" Ollie stopped me before he said "if you go back to the pantry they will go there first to find you" I stood there as I contemplated. Turning back round "Gloria will stay in the room, i have a different place to stay" Ollie frowned at me but nodded, i travelled with the three to the bedrooms once Gloria was settled i left the pack house making my way into the forest. I reached the small waterfall, only to hear a twig snap.

Turning round I came face to face with a tall figure "Ollie, you’re going to give me a heart attack" he chuckled out "I'm sorry, I just wanted to make sure you're safe" rolling my eyes I turned round as I dipped my feet in the water sitting at the edge "it's the safest I could get living here" he sat next to me while he listened to my story "have you heard of the legendary female Alpha?" He nodded "of course it’s a legend that says, a female will be born with the skills of a leader, she will hold many powers no one else can hold a candle to" I nodded "well my parents thought that was me". He looked over at me shocked "if that's true then why treat you the way they have?" I chuckled "their hopes of that came crashing down when my turning ceremony was a dud".

Ollie sighed out "you do know that not everyone turns at the age of 14?" Shaking my head "they can shift earlier than on their 14 birthday but it is extremely rare for one to shift late" before I could say something else Ollie smirked "but it’s possible, you could be a late shifter and when you do your wolf will be beautiful just like you" I felt my cheeks heat up as I looked at him wide-eyed. He chuckled at my reaction, I turned away "you can go back now" Ollie fake gasped "I'd think you don't want me here miss Eliza" I quickly looked up to him "no it's not that" he smirked at me, that's when I realised and muttered out "you were joking?" He laughed even more before lying back on the mud. I sat their looking at the waterfall when I whispered "I'm sorry you will have to bear with me".

Ollie rolled over to his side raising an eyebrow "whys that?" Sighing I looked at his "it's been a while since I've been this free so I need time to adjust to things like not being punished" Ollie sat up and brushed my hair behind my ear "hey it’s okay, I need time as well, you’re pretty much the first person to talk to me without being forced to because of pack work" I frowned "really? but you’re so nice" a heavenly chuckle reached my ears "Eliza do you believe anything Gloria told you?" Shaking my head "unless the person themselves tell me what happened then I won't go by what others have said" he huffed out "wow your definitely special Eliza" I tilted my head "I wouldn't class myself as special", "I do, anyway where are you staying tonight? I will escort you there" I looked over to the waterfall "would you believe me if I said I'd stay here tonight?".
