A SOULMATE FOR LUCIFER

A New Secretary

- Rita's apartment -

(8:35pm)

Sounds of laughter could be heard from Rita's apartment as she and her friend, Alexa, were watching a TV programme.

"Gosh! It almost 9:00pm, I have to get home before gets really dark" Alexa said as she glanced at her wristwatch.

"Thanks for stopping by Alexa, I would have been bored the whole day if you didn't come" Rita said as Alexa took bag.

"That's why we are friends. See you tomorrow" Alexa replied.

They hugged briefly then Alexa walked out of the house.

"Get home safely" Rita waved as Alexa boarded a taxi.

The taxi drove off then Rita walked back inside and closed the door.

"Time to get some sleep" Rita yawned then she laid on the bed and drifted off to sleep.

- That Same Night -

(At Lucifer's Mansion)

Lucifer couldn't get Rita's image out of his head. He kept thinking about her ever.

It's strange to think of someone you hardly know anything about and that troubled Lucifer a lot.

He felt something when he saw her in the morning but he can't tell exactly what he felt.

Lucifer sat at the edge of his swimming pool with a stick of cigarette between his lips and a bottle of alcohol beside him.

He wore a black singlet and a short nicker. He always loved the atmosphere at night, the beauty of the stars in the sky and the cold night breeze soothed his fine skin.

"Hey bro, what're you thinking about?" Lucien asked as he walked towards Lucifer with a glass of wine in his right hand.

Lucien sat down beside him and took a sip from his wine.

"You seem troubled, mind telling me what's troubling you?" Lucien asked.

"It's nothing" Lucifer replied as he stared at the sky.

Lucien took another sip from his wine and he also gazed at the sky.

"I know you very well Lucifer and I know that your mind is troubled" Lucien said and Lucifer remained silent.

Lucifer dipped the head of his cigarette into an ash tray. Then he took the bottle of alcohol beside him and gulped some down his throat.

Lucifer spoke up after a minute of silence.

"It's been more than three thousand years since God banished me down to ea..."

"Us actually" Lucien interrupted him before he could complete his sentence.

"Whatever" Lucifer scoffed.

"So, is that why you're worried?" Lucien asked.

"No, that's not the reason why" Lucifer replied.

"Then what's it?" Lucien asked again.

Lucifer sighed loudly before answering.

"The curse"

"What curse?" Lucien asked with an arched brow.

"God cursed me that I'll never find a soulmate and even if I do find one, she would die" Lucifer replied and Lucien bursted into laughter.

"I thought you were worried about something serious" Lucien said and continued laughing.

"What do you mean?" Lucifer asked with a raised brow.

"I don't see any reason why you should be worried about a soulmate when there are lots of pretty ladies in the world that would kiss your shoes just to spend a night with you" Lucien said and sipped his wine.

"There must be a reason why God placed that curse on me. Everything God says or does has a reason and I'm sure you're aware of it" Lucifer said in a more serious tone.

"If you're really worried about that then I know of a lady who can be of help to you" Lucien said. Then he wrote something on a piece of paper and handed it over to Lucifer.

"How can a mere lady be of help to me?" Lucifer asked with a frown.

"She is no ordinary lady, she's a witch and she is very good at what she does" Lucien replied.

"Where does she lives?" Lucifer asked.

"7th street main state, the last building by the left. You'll see what I wrote in that paper in front of her house" Lucien replied.

Lucifer stared at the paper then he kept it inside his pocket.

"And how do I identify her when I get there?" Lucifer asked again.

"Here are some of her pictures" Lucien said, handing his phone to Lucifer.

"Jeez bro! I thought you said she's your friend!" Lucifer exclaimed as he took a look at the pictures on Lucien's phone.

"Yes, why?" Lucien replied

"Then why do you have her nudes on your phone when the both of you are just friends?" Lucifer asked with a raised brow.

"We are friends with benefits, I think that's what earthlings call it" Lucien replied with a grin.

"By the way, where is Lucius?" Lucifer asked.

"Oh! That manwhore is having a threesome inside" Lucien replied with a chuckle.

Lucifer shook his head and gulped more alcohol down his throat.

Lucien's phone ringed then he picked the call. He ended the call some seconds later.

"The girls are here" Lucien said as he stood up then he gulped the remaining content in his glass cup.

"You coming bro?" He asked Lucifer.

"Yeah, let's go f**k some hoes till sunrise" he replied with a devilish smile.

- The Next Morning -

(At Rita's apartment)

"Grr! Grr!" The blaring sound of the alarm woke Rita up from her sleep. She sat upright on the bed and she yawned loudly while stretching her hands.

She turned off the alarm then she got down from the bed and walked inside the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and took her bath then she dressed up for work.

She carried her handbag which contained her phone and her purse.

She walked out of the house and locked the door. She kept the key in her bag then she walked down the street where she boarded a taxi.

"Silver restaurant" Rita said to the driver. Then the driver turnes on the ignition and drove off.

A few minutes later, the taxi got to silver restaurant then Rita got down and paid the taxi driver.

She walked inside the restaurant and it was a bit scanty. There were only three customers in the restaurant and that was because it was still early.

"Good morning Rita" Bella waved immediately she sighted Rita.

"Morning Bella, how was your night?" Rita asked with a smile.

"Splendid and yours?"

"Great" Rita simply replied.

"A cup of cappuccino please" a customer requested.

"Coming right away" Bella replied.

"Here is your uniform" Bella said as she handed a white T-shirt and a black skirt to Rita.

Rita changed into the uniform then she joined Bella and other workers to serve the customers.

(At Lucifer's Mansion)

Lucifer was done bathing then he walked out of the bathroom and walked inside his room.

Everything in his room screamed of wealth. His room was painted white and a golden chandelier was hung in the center of the ceiling.

A king sized bed which was big enough to contain ten people, was placed at a corner in his room. A golden rug was laid across his room.

Lucifer walked to a corner in his spacious room then he pressed a button on the wall then the wall splittted into two, leading to another room which was his closet.

Lucifer stepped inside the room which contained clothes worth billions of dollars.

The amount of clothes inside the room was enough to open more than six different boutiques.

Lucifer picked a white suit then he wore it with a matching white trouser. He also wore a pair of white shoes.

Lucifer walked out of his closet then he opened a big box which contained his jeweleries. Different designs of accessories were placed inside the box.

Lucifer picked a golden chain and a golden wristwatch then he wore it.

He styled his black hair backwards then he picked his favorite pack of cigarette and a golden lighter and kept them inside his pocket.

He checked himself in the mirror and he smirked at his reflection.

"Still as handsome as always" he said then he picked his phone and carried his briefcase.

He walked out of his room and both Lucius and Lucien also stepped out of their room at the same time.

Just like Lucifer, Lucius and Lucien also wore white suits with whites shoes.

The three of them looked alike and the only difference was their hair colour.

"Good morning bro" Lucius and Lucien greeted Lucifer.

Lucifer nodded in reply then the three of them descended down the stairs to the living room.

All the maids bowed and greeted them as they walked to the living room.

Dozens of ladies were sleeping on the tiled floor with bottles of alcohol scattered around the living room.

"I can't believe that they've not woken up" Lucius said as he stared at the ladies who were sleeping on the floor.

"I guess we f****d them real hard yesterday night" Lucien replied and the both of them bursted into a round of laughter.

"Clean up this place and send those ladies back to their various homes when they wake up" Lucifer said to the maids.

"I'm sure they won't even remember a thing when they wake up" Lucien said as they walked to the dining room.

The maids served their meal and they were done eating a few minutes later.

The three brothers walked out of the mansion.

"Good morning my Lord" Cephar greeted with a bow. Then he opened the door of a white Benz for Lucifer. Lucifer got in the backseat.

Lucien and Lucuis also got into their different cars. Then they drove out of the compound.

- Thirty minutes later -

Lucifer and his brothers drove into the company. Bodyguards surrounded them immediately they got down from their cars.

They proceeded into the building. All the workers greeted and bowed as they walked in. Their presence alone made the workers nervous.

Mrs Anderson walked up to them with a tab in her hand.

"Good morning sirs" she greeted Lucifer and his brothers.

"Morning Mrs Anderson" Lucius replied.

"What's the status report on the s*x robots production?" Lucifer asked as they walked to the elevator.

"We've currently created a total number of 600 s*x robots as at this morning" Mrs Anderson replied as they stepped inside the elevator.

Cephar pressed the fifth floor button then the elevator closed.

"We're gonna launch the s*x robots today by 12:00pm" Lucifer said.

"Okay sir" Mrs Anderson nodded in reply.

The elevator got to the fifth floor then it stopped. The door opened and they stepped out.

"Cephar" Lucifer called as they walked to his office.

"Yes my Lord?"

"What are my schedules for today?" Lucifer asked.

"Your schedules are with your secretary" Cephar replied.

They got to Lucifer's office. Cephar opened the door for them and they walked in.

He and his brothers sat down on the couches in the office.

"And where is she?" Lucifer asked again.

"She is yet to arrive" Cephar answered.

Lucifer angrily banged his hand on the table. He hated it whenever any of his workers came late to work.

"When she arrives, tell her that she is fired. Then post an online vacancy for the position of a secretary. Qualified candidates should come for the interview tomorrow morning" Lucifer said.

"Okay sir" Cephar replied.
