CHAPTER NINE
Neither Roz nor Lori was wild about the idea of spending a weekend up in the woods at the Seavers' cabin. Lori was persuaded only after Pete Seaver agreed to leave the children behind. Lori's mother was more than delighted to take them for the weekend and that was that. Resigned, Lori began to do some thinking and she made a few purchases here and there, secret purchases.
