The smell of chocolate and fresh berries filled my nose. "Mate."
Finally, I've been searching for years for her, and I've come up with nothing. I never thought it could be someone in my pack.
Her scent grew stronger the closer I got to her. Oh no, Alpha Aziel will demote me if he knows an omega is my mate. What to do?
"Go to our mate, I want our mate." Costello growled.
Fuck it. I began to walk over to her and shouted to her. "Hey Serenity."
She looked at me disappointed, but I didn't care. I was going to let her know she was mine and mine alone.
"What the hell do you want, Mathew?"
"There's no need to talk in that tone, Serenity. You shouldn't disrespect your beta."
"News flash dumb ass, you're not my beta and never will be. So I'll talk to you any way I please."
I grabbed her neck in a choke hold, pinning me against the tree. She grabbed my hands in mine, trying to pry them open.
My eyes darkened, my wolf was taking over and there was nothing I could do about it. "You'll respect me omega, or you'll suffer the consequences. "
"I'm not a f*****g omega prick. I'm above you and always will be."
"Your mother should have never come here, omega, she doesn't belong here!"
"I agree."
I looked at her stumped. She was actually agreeing with me, but why? Surely enough, I got my answer.
"We don't belong here because we are better than you. You are beneath us and this pack is not worthy of our presence in your company." Her wolf said, snarling at me.
"Take that back, little wolf."
"Never!"
"You're going to regret you ever crushed me, my little mate." I leaned forward. Sniffing her, god she smells so good. "You smell so sweet little mate, but your sweetness won't last long. Once I'm done with you, you'll be on your knees begging me for forgiveness."
"Never!"
"We shall see little mate." I said, as I licked her neck, kissing it where my mark would be soon.
I didn't mean to hurt her, but she was getting on my last nerve. My wolf had taken over and was not backing down. He was going to have her one way or another. Even though she didn't recognize us as her mate.
My hands made their way over her body. God, it felt so good my wolf was going mad just to be let out to taste and to bury himself deep inside her.
Her knee connected with crown jewels. I let go of her neck instantly and dropped to the ground, only to see her running away. I quickly composed myself and ran at full speed after her. "You little b***h, you're going to pay for that gravely."
My eyes were still black when I finally caught up to her and grabbed her wrists tightly, so there was no escape. My wolf was seething. "You're going to pay for that, my little mate, and you'll never forget who you belong to again!"
She threw me over the top of her and I ended up on the ground. My back snapped, f**k my backbone. I knew then and there she'd done some serious damage. I looked over at her, and she stared at me angrily. Her eyes were glowing a purple-blue colour. s**t, she couldn't be. If the legends were true, her mother must be a descendant of the moon goddess herself and her siblings of equal power and also descendants of the moon goddess. Should I tell my alpha or not?
He hadn't treated her with the respect she was due none of us had to any of them.
Because his love for her had turned to pure hate over the years and had turned everyone against her, even their two sons. Do they carry the same genes? Only time will tell. They had four and six years left until they turned sixteen.
Oh god, this was the biggest s**t show, and we were all surely going to hell for this.
