I ran as fast as I could, the smell growing ever closer as I turned into the forest though it all seemed the same. I could smell the freshness of berries mixed in with sandalwood. I continued pushing forward. I had to find the source of the most delicious scent I had ever smelt. It was mixed in with a familiar smell that I had grown up with but it was impossible Alexi had been left for dead.
He was throwing into the depths of the woods left to die. How could this even be possible even if he had survived out there he wouldn’t have lasted the long five days without food and water. My nose must be receiving me. I continued across the rough train the branches snapped under my paws as they thudded loudly through the twists and turns of the woodland the trees towering above at least ten maybe eleven feet tall or taller I’m not sure they all were hiding the sun and only it’s glares were shining through them making it harder for me to navigate through the forest.
The smell grew stronger as I bound through the final high-towered trees and I could finally relax and not feel as if everything around me was closing in on me and swirling around me. I suffered from vertigo nusal forms wolf but it was true I was the only one of my kind that suffered from this and I hated it I felt like I was a wolf with a disability that stopped me from doing what a normal wolf should be doing to find his pray by not being able to even run through a forest with out from feeling nauseous from the feeling that everything was moving around me even when it wasn’t.
The smell had illuminated ten times stronger now. I looked at the boy in front of me. He had to be no older than sixteen but he was for and buff in all the right places. He was damn fit. I wasn’t gay in any way shape or form but damn this guy’s aura was of a true alpha. Damn my d**k was hard just wanted to look at him. I’d never been interested in boys before I alwaydmbangged girls or women. I never once had I thought that I would be mated to an alpha male.
I continued forward watching him as he smiled. It was like a breath of fresh air. I changed from my wolf to my human so as not to scare him. I approached him slowly and steadily then he suddenly turned his smile left his face and stood questioning who I was. He scanned my body sending shivers through my entire body to my d**k. His face heated.
I looked down and suddenly realised why. I was butt naked, damn. I slithered into my clothes and trainers and began prowling towards him.
“Wh..wh..who are..”
“Mate.”
“Wh..wh.. “
“Mate.”
An arm swooped around his waist pulling toward the bulky make behind him. “Mine!” he growled.
No no this is all wrong he’s my mate not this, I looked over the boy’s shoulder shocked to see those pricing dark eyes the ones I would never forget the ones that had haunted me night after night. “Alexi.”
“Stay the f**k away from him Xavier he’s fuckin MINE! He roared growling.
“How is it even possible you were banished you should be...”
“Dead,” he said coldly.
Well yeah.
“Leave now Xavier or I’ll rip you to shreds.’
“Just like your parents.”
“I never killed my parents you know it, your father knew it, the whole f*****g pack knew it. Yet you chose to disloyal my parents and throw me out of my own pack my own fuckin pack Xavier my best fuckin frirn the one who promised me he’s always be by my side and have mupy fuckin back!”
“You weren’t worthy of being king.”
“And you weren’t worthy of being my beta. You destroyed my life, Xavier all of you. I trusted you.”
“I’m here for my mate then I’m leaving.”
“Not in this lifetime traitor. He’s my mate and you’re not taking him away from me.”
Fuck this can’t be happening the goddess can’t expect me to share my mate with my enemy. Why goddess why? Is this my punishment for banishing the prince from his pack and letting my best friend down and believing my father and the whole pack against him?
“You’re a king.” the velvety voice asked.
I snapped out of my thoughts and looked over to the most beautiful male is ever seen.”
“Prince.” Alexi corrected.
We both watched the male beauty drop into his arms.
“Fuck.” Alexi muttered, picking him up and carrying him away.
I wasn’t going to let him take my mate away from me so I followed.
“Leave Xavier.”
“Not a chance he’s my mate.”
He cut his eyes. “HE’S MINE!” he growled.
“I’m still not leaving, we need to process yes ours not just yours or mine.
“Mine.”
Fuck this isn’t going to end well.
He lay the male on the table. And stroked his face. “It’ll be okay baby, I was going to tell you once we were somewhere more comfortable.”
“You didn’t tell him?”
He glared at me. I take it as he didn’t. “Why not?”
“None of your damn business Xavier.”
“Well it kind of is if we’re going to get through this shit.”
“Stay t f**k out to f my business Xavier. If it weren’t for you I wouldn’t have s**t to explain.”
I stretched my hand out to his shoulder. “Don’t f*****g touch me.”
I snapped my arm back and he lowered his head muttering. I took my chance to place my hand on his shoulder and sparks of electricity shot through my hand shooting it back. f**k this wasn’t good.
“Karma’s a b***h ain’t it?”
“Hugh.”
“You stuck with me and me stuck with you. Damn b***h aint it after everything.”
“I’m sorry Alexi dad said you were to blame I believe him.”
“Well he was wrong. You all were.” he growled.
“We need to find a common ground for this to work, Alexi.”
“No shit.”
“Is he going to be okay?”
“Yeah once he wakes up and the initial shock leaves him.”
I nodded.
I slid my hand into his, linking our hands and electric shocks served through them.
A girl ran into the large cave, her hair dishevelled and he dropped my hand. “Keita, are you okay?”
I raised an eyebrow. I hadn’t seen a witch in a long time but it was obvious she was one and a powerful one at that.
“I felt strange alexi. I can’t explain it but I felt Sergio’s powers go off the charts. Is he okay?”
Sergio, so that’s the gorgeous male’s name.
“He’s fine Keita, he passed out.”
“What did you do Alexi? You know he’s still wary about this whole mating thing.”
“It wasn’t me believe it or not it was him.” he said nodding over to me.
She looked over at me giving me the once over. “And who are you? Pray tell.”
“Xavier.”
She paled. “Why the hell are you here? Haven’t you done enough? You left him for dead! For Dead! And now you decide to turn up here for what? To finish what couldn’t be finished back then?”
“No funny thing is we’re mates. All of us.”
She stared at me squinting as if she didn’t believe what I was saying. “Well ain’t this a s**t show?”
Ain’t it?
“Well I guess what they say karma is truly a b***h”
“No s**t Sherlock.”
“So what are you going to do about it? Reject each other.”
“It’s not quite that simple sweetheart.”
“Don’t call me sweetheart asshole.”
“Find I am not. But there’s another person to consider in this and if we decide to reject each other he’ll feel the pain of the rejection twice as hard as we would.”
“Damn.” she poked at us both. So what are your plans exactly?”
“Go with the flow, this is all new to all of us. We need to learn to trust the other and we need to come to some sort of a truce.”
“Well good luck with that.” She looked at alexi. “This is some s**t show Alexi. Just go with your heart. I’m sure Sergio will want to know what the hell is going on when he wakes.”
“I will, we will.”
She nodded before placing her hand on Sergio’s brow. I growled. “Calm your pants, I’m just checking him. He’ll be awake soon, go easy on him okay.”
“Will do.”
She nodded and walked out of the cave. I looked at Alexi damn he’d grown into one fine specimen I walked over to him. “I am truly sorry Alexi. I should’ve believed you.”
“Well you didn’t and that’s what hurts the most.”
I grabbed his redshirt pulling him close. “And I will make it up to you every second of our lives.” I said, pressing my lips to his, damn they felt so sweet. I just had to deepen the kiss.
