Abby
She was a picture of beauty like no other if ever seen Seline in all of her glory shed been my mentor on this journey of self-realisation so far I had learned I wasn't just any wolf I was her very own daughter given to the royal family then handed to those who I can't even call my family, they treated me like s**t like I was a nothing more than a peasant, a porper. I had no right to live in their pack, their community, I was f**k all to them. Even the rest of the pack had treated me like I was invisible. I was bullied, beaten and left unconscious. There was only one wolf I had truly trusted whilst I was there but he was friends with the alpha and beta so there were no guarantees he was actually on my side, he'd just felt sorry for me and my misfortunes.
I walked slowly over to Seline. I was more prepared this time. I'd spoken to her several times, my wolf by my side but this time I was alone. “I come here with a warning, my child. “
“What's wrong?”
“You need to keep running, my child, they are on their way. They'll be here soon. There are only a few you can trust are not the ones who are close. Wake your pups, you need to run.”
And she was gone.
My eyes shot open my body, shooting forward this was no coincidence. She'd always been right and I had listened to every last word that she told me I knew I would have to keep on going for my children's safety. I was less concerned about mine, but those of my children, they meant everything to me. I couldn't lose them, not now.
“Sergio, Serenity. Wake up.”
They groaned.
“Why mom.” They whined.
“We need to get out of here they're coming.”
Their eyes sprung open leading to their feet. They knew exactly who I had meant. The shadows, the monsters of our nightmares, the ones who had no right to find us, the ones who were just fed on greed to get revolution only I could bring. I could think of a few if they knew my true identity. Serenity had slipped up in front of that male w***e, bastard, Matthew. He wasn't getting my daughter. I would make sure he wouldn't, he didn't deserve her and that bastard alpha would never get what I held. I'd never once given my wolf up to him and rightly so. He was untrustworthy and he never saw me as his Luna pathetic worthless alpha.
Something felt off, very off. Since we left alpha Lincoln’s pack I felt something strange inside me, was he following me or was it a stronger presence I could feel beside him? All I was sure of was that I wasn't going back to his pack. I didn't trust any of them even if he did. There were traitors there. I had felt it and Storm had felt a transferable shift. It wasn't good.
he was a male w***e he’d f**k any she Wolf he could find.
We all changed into our wolves and took if there was no way in hell I was waiting around to see who the first deceitful bastard was going to be. We needed to keep running and find a place where we lay low and be safe. I needed to tell my children everything about their father and everyone else in that disgusting pack.
Prince Koen
We ran through the woods faster than we'd ever run before we had to get to our mate. Our beta and gamma running next to us with some of our top and highly trained warriors. No way were we going into this with our eyes shut. We needed them wide open and aware of the danger around us, the rogues were far from our territory but you could smell their foul stench anywhere. They came in words we were used to killing them by now but they'd seemed to have doubled in size since we came to the throne not officially but we had taken over from our father once he became too ill to do his duty as King.
We wouldn't be crowned until we had found our mate. But we had to act quickly or we would lose her for good. There was competition and we had no idea who this other wolf was. If she'd accept us, him or none of us it was a chance we were willing to take. Though we needed a Luna to be crowned, it wasn't necessary.
Koen plucked his nose up and sniffed around us something in the air to see if he could scent our mate. “We have to hurry, they're on the move again. If we don't catch up with them we'll lose them.”
I nodded, grunting.
“There's other smells mixed in with hers.”
“Who’s?”
“I'm not sure, Zyair. A male and a female.”
“You think she's travelling with two other wolves.”
“I do you to smell the air brother, something feels off.”
I lifted my nose and sniffed the air around us and sure enough, there were many unknown smells all tangled into one another. They all smell different and of alphas, betas, gammas and deltas. The ones that stood out the most were those I hadn't smelt in a while. It couldn't be, Noone had heard of or seen him in years after he'd been banished for his father's death. The Rogue Alpha. There had been so many stories about him that he had died in the woodland due to dehydration, others about him that he had been sought out by rogues and had become their new leader. Or they had outrightly killed him.
The other got me growling. “Rogue.”
“Are you sure Zyair?”
“I am. I smelt the Rogue King. He's on their trail, we have to get to them before he does.”
He nodded and we sped off at the speed of light we had to get to them before that half-wit our king caught up to them then it would be game over if we didn't get to her first. He was a conniving bastard that wanted recognition for what wasn't his and what he hadn't accomplished by taking it away from others we'd never come across him before, though we had heard of him we needed to end him before he got to our mate.
“What else was in the air brother?”
“The Rogue Alpha.”
“Are you sure? No one has heard about him in years.”
“I'm positive.”
“Is he going to be a problem?”
“He could be, or he could be a blessing in disguise.”
He snorted and we continued running over the dried-out grass and crunching debris of the autumn leaves and branches. We had to reach our destination, our mate before the Rogue King did.
