Ember opened the door. Antoinette stood there, already dressed down from earlier—more relaxed this time. “Hungry?” she asked. Ember nodded. “Very.” She grabbed her bag and they stepped out. The city felt warm and different at night. It was alive. Antoinette led the way confidently. “I’ve been here before,” she said, glancing back. “There’s a street not far from here—good food, nice vibe. Very… Mexican.” She smiled.
