As Adam rushed towards her, Alice turned around and ran in fear. Suddenly, a chill ran down her spine as she felt a deadly grip on the back of her neck. She cried out in pain as she was thrown onto the sofa. She tried to flip over and escape, but her ankle was caught by a large hand and pulled back.
"Don't...ah!" Alice swung her hands, trying to grab the useless cushion as it rolled off the sofa and onto the floor.
As she realized what Adam was about to do, she urgently questioned, "Is this fair to Victoria?"
Adam's actions paused for a moment. Alice was panting heavily, her heart pounding in her chest. Was it working? Of course it was! How could he do this with another woman if he had someone he loved?
This was not normal!
Clearly, Adam was not a normal person. He was a madman!
