Chapter TenAlone In The Rabbit Hole
I'm on my own, yet surrounded by nurses and doctors. Terry came to see me on Sunday. I hoped he would have come Monday, but he did say he had a very important meeting in London to attend that might have thrown some light on what he was going to do in the future. Apparently it did as he hasn't returned.
Megan has visited. She came with Samantha Rodgers. It was good to see them both. Megan and Job are to marry. She said she'll stay on as my housekeeper if I want her to, and wondered if I could find something for Job to do. I laughed at that, not because the thought of him working for me was abhorrent, or out of the question. No, the opposite of that would be true. I would be thankful if he was around.
