After slipping away to the Palace Barracks in the morning, Lilia returned to Cotte House on the Main Street of the Capital. Her Mother hadn’t risen yet, so she’d had time to bathe and change into a dress before attending a light breakfast. After that, she’d spent most of the day in one of the front rooms of the tall townhouse, drawing. Like many female Knights, Lilia had been encouraged to learn additional skills alongside her training. Something that she had always loved was creating tiny pieces of artwork that could travel as she moved around the country.
