“What do you mean, what am I?” Kneffi asked confused. To him she should look like a perfect woman, his personal most desired female image. Asking her what she was didn’t make any sense.
“I mean exactly what I said. What are you?” He stared down at her quizzically, his voice slightly wavering which Kneffi could only assume was from fear.
“I am a girl,” she whined feigning weakness so she could get up and run. “And you’re hurting me.”
The man c*cked an eyebrow at her shaking his head. “Tell me the truth.”
Kneffi sighed, her damsel in distress wasn’t working. She went limp the the mans grasp ending her struggle to get away. He continued to stare at her with what appeared to be fascination now that she had relaxed. His gaze roamed her body causing her skin to prickle and break out in goosebumps even though she was not cold. She began to feel uncomfortable without any coverings, and tried to cover herself as much as possible which snapped the man out of his trance.
“Look I can understand if you’re scared, but so am I! Like hella scared, I don’t know about you, but I’ve never had a naked RED lady hunched over my fire in the middle of the woods!” He was trying to stay quiet, but Kneffi could hear the distress his words.
“You see me as red?” She asked. No human was supposed to see her true form. This night was so messed up, and she still didn’t even know why she was top-side.
He looked at her as if she were speaking a foreign language, his eyes darting around the forest and coming back to rest on her. Kneffi could help but feel bad for the man, she couldn’t imagine what could possibly be going through his head
“Do people not normally see you as red?” He questioned looking even more lost. His grip began to loosen on her wrist until her arm dropped to the dirt. “Maybe I as just really messed up right now, I had too much to smoke and drink and it’s making me hallucinate. Oh God”
Kneffi listened to the man talk to himself and cringed when he mentioned God’s name. She slowly started sitting up while keeping her gaze on the ground by his feet. She curled her toes in the dirt and pushed with her hands. Remaining as calm as possible she sat on her haunches watching as the man continued staring at the forest and then the fire muttering to himself. She could run now, one quick move and she would be on her feet and slipping into the forest as silently as she came out.
As she was getting ready to bolt the man jumped in front of her and gripped her shoulders. “You’re real. Just tell me you’re real so that I can at least feel somewhat sane!”
Kneffi fell back once more onto the hard dirt and whimpered trying to hide her fear. Her father taught her better than to show fear, especially in front of a human. She was a supernatural being; he was supposed to be afraid of her, not the other way around.
Finally having enough of the little game they were playing, Kneffi stood up. She was wet and cold and naked, but she was also terrifying. The man looked up to her face terror masking his features, she stood taller than him at six and a half feet. Lean muscle coiled over her body accentuating the natural curves she possessed. Her soaked black hair ran down her back reaching the cleft of her butt, she pulled two thick strands forward to cover her full breasts maintaining some dignity. Her deep black eyes stared into his reaching deep into his soul feeling his life force course through his veins.
“My name is Kneffi,” she said reaching a hand towards his face. Running a long black nail down his cheek eliciting a small amount of blood, she continued. “I am the first daughter of Lucifer, I have been sent to your part of the world on a mission. I can and will hurt you if I have to. Unless, you move out of my way. Now.”
The man stared at her for a moment, likely trying to process what he just heard. His eyes scanned hers as he touched his cheek where her nail had cut him. Pulling his hand away he looked down to a small bead of blood on the tip of his finger. Kneffi reached forward grabbing his hand. Frozen in fear he could only watch as she slowly licked the blood from his skin and hummed.
“So uh, Satan’s you’re daddy huh?” He finally asked in a shaky voice, he laughed nervously as she eyed him up and down. “Uh, cool.”
Kneffi stared as the man held out a hand in front of her, “I’m Cael, nice to meet you.”
