Chapter eight

262 Words
Trinity POV After last night's events, my life has been completely turned upside down. I feel like I have no choice but to leave home, but I know my mom won't believe me if I try to talk to her about it. So, for now, my only option is to leave. The problem is, I don't have many friends or a place to go. It's a Sunday, and the neighborhood is bustling with people. I need to figure out where I can go. After an hour of thinking and overthinking, I decide to pack a small bag with essentials and head to a nearby café for breakfast. The place is packed, but I manage to find an empty table for two. I order a coffee and sit down, feeling a bit overwhelmed. As I sit there, I decide to reach out to my best friend, Rose, to see if I can crash at her place for a few days. I send her a message, and she responds quickly. I explain my situation briefly, and she offers me a place to stay until we can figure something out. I feel a sense of relief wash over me, knowing that I have somewhere to go. Here are the phone messages: Trinity: Hey Rose, I need some help. Mind helping a girl out? Rose: I'm listening. What's up, Trenny? Trinity: So, I kinda left home (it's a long story, and I'll tell you over coffee), but I need a place to stay. Rose: Damn! You can crash at my place till we figure something out.
