I was surprised to wake up very late into the day and see that I was tucked into my bed at the hotel. As far as I remembered, we left the bungalow at the beach but I was so drowsy from the vigorous activity all night that I failed to keep myself awake to keep Cal company while he was driving. I raised my head to look about the room. The sunlight swimming into the room was excruciatingly bright. I had to throw the covers over my head for a few minutes to let my eyes adjust to the brightness.
