I tapped my foot against the floor as every second passed by excruciatingly slow, then someone on the other hand finally answered. I rose up quickly and tightened my grip on the phone. My voice had disappeared and I didn't know what to say. I shook my head to clear it up and hopefully find my voice, but by the time I did, the call had ended because because the person on the other side hung up. I moved the phone away from my ear, unsure of what had happened. I hadn't stalled that long. In fact, I didn't say anything for only five seconds.
