There was a study on the first floor that I assumed was for Ambrose to work in when he was staying in that house. I went downstairs and opened the door once I got to it. Cynthia had pointed out the study as we were passing by it but she hadn't shown us inside. I presumed they weren't allowed to enter it unless Ambrose was present and for cleaning purposes when he was. Opening the door, I was greeted by a room that was set up very neatly with books lining two bookshelves that faced each other from opposite walls. The desk and chair were in the center of the room, which was not that big, and the window behind it faced a row of trees on the side of the yard. It was quiet part of the house.
