"What would the consequences be if that happened?" Stella wondered. She began mulling over various possibilities. Before she could find a solution to the problem, the man beside her halted. Stella saw Edward staring at her out of the corner of her eye. It made her even more annoyed and worried.
Couldn't he just walk with her for a little longer? At the very least, he could wait until they left the crowd's gaze!
Stella pursed her lips and looked at Edward. Suddenly, she noticed the strong big hand at her waist pushing her towards the car. "Get in," He said as his other hand moved towards the top of the car in an attempt to shield Stella's head.
Stella showed no sign of doubt as she bent down and got into the car. She then moved into the innermost seat, making room for Edward.
