The only choice Ray had was to lure Stella to school. Maybe Stella could stay away from her family, but she wouldn't be able to escape from the loan sharks tomorrow.
That was how the plot came into place. This was Ray's last chance.
The thought of Ray getting involved with loan sharks and usuries never crossed Stella's mind. Edward, however, had already received news about it. He found out through James Harrison that Ray had returned the money. He couldn't stop himself from being suspicious about the whole situation. "How did the Biber Family get hold of such a large amount of money?" He wondered, "Could it be from Stella?"
However, he dismissed the thought quickly. Stella never asked for his bank card, so how could she possibly possess such a vast sum of money?
