Abigail accepts the instruction, meandering the brick-lined hallway to the south wing where the art room awaits. Every time she walks this hall, she absorbs the nostalgic sentiments encouraged by all the colors and the markings of the artwork that hangs periodically along the way. Only the best artwork throughout the years of students attending the school has earned their place here, which isn’t many, but they’re lovely. A few images remind Abigail of her favorite painters from the late eighteenth century, like Vincent Van Gogh and Claude Monet. Just looking at them offers Abigail a sense of peace.
