“Chinney Field, the site where The Forefront Battle rumored to have happened which dates back to 1776 to be turned into an apartment complex” That was key information. After going through numerous files from the archive I realized something I had already known when moving here. This apartment building was rebuilt after the old one burnt just weeks before opening back in the 1990s, the whole project was halted until the early 2000s when they decided the charred building should be demolished and built into something. The newspaper dates back to the 8th of February 1986, it claims that history buffs and the city councils were fighting against the corporation behind the building of the apartment but as I dig further it seems like the case was thrown out of court due to lack of evidence unofficially handing the win to the industry building the apartment. Google doesn't know anything related to Chinney being involved in any battle regarding the Revolutionary Movement. The Forefront Battle sounds like an important battle of something but it had been lost in history, now merely a myth. A myth that had clearly been forgotten after the last millennium ended. “What do you know about The Forefront Battle?” I asked Ivan the moment he answered my call, he clicked his tongue on the roof of his mouth. “Not much. It's basically bullshit but the Indians say it was the beginning of the Civil War. The colonists raging with fire triggered by George Washington and the British smug as always faced off on the land you're sitting on right now. The old-day Indians claim to have had records of it which were destroyed because of us and the new Americans couldn't prove any battle ever took place there. It's basically he said, she said.” “That explains why the case was thrown off. Ivan, if you've gathered all the files I need tell me. I might visit you. Can't stay locked up here forever" I say checking the time “My damn caretaker is gonna be here any minute to take me to my physical therapy. I'm gonna get off” “James” I hum “If you ever start a call with no ‘Hi’ or good whatever the f**k time it is, I'm not answering” “Gotcha”
